The RealGM article that says JJ Redick possibly wants a trade again since they just signed Pietrus gave me this idea.

-If Suns need a wing.
-If Suns need a backup power forward
-If Suns need to save money
-If Magic need to get rid of JJ Redick as article suggests.


Then............................

Suns get:
-Brian Cook (13 million remaining salary)
-JJ Redick (7 million remaining salary)
-Save 3 million dollars

Magic get:
-Leandro Barbosa (23 million remaining salary)


You like? I sure like. Suns save money. Get a taller, pure shooter at shooting guard. Get a shooting backup power forward to drill three pointers when Amare is on the bench. Redick wants out? Send him here. This deal only makes too much sense.

brian cook a power forward? LOL JJ Redick might be the worst wing defender in the NBA. The suns are supposed to be improving the defense, those two guys dont play a lick of D. You undervalue LB incredibly, his contract is NOT a bad contract for a guy who scores 16-18ppg off the bench.

Because his college coach was on the coaching staff, and Duke players for some reason are believed to be Olympic caliber players out of college just ask Christian Laettner.
