A chance to catch up to the Nets? I hope so.. I hope we can get past that tough team and others all the way to the top .... It's going to be an uphill climb to get there but I think we have the team, management, and ownership that can definitely help us get there by the end of the season.

With the number 1 pick in the 2011 NBA draft, the Phoenix Suns select.....

Another game tonight? I don't think I can take much more. Even fans need a break from this humiliation now and then.

Yeah buddy, I might just check in on the game every 20 or so minutes. Gotta be something better on tonight.

Gentry this morning - "Yeah we're pumped for this game. Should be a tough matchup against one of the worst teams in the league, but we're confident we can get the loss".

What makes any of you think we'll get the #1 pick in the draft? We could lose every game from here on out and be the worst team in the league, with the worst record, and we STILL wouldn't get the #1 pick. That just doesn't happen with the Suns.

Why would anybody want to dream about the 11th pick? I'm working my way up to a fantasy situation where we get the first pick and trade it for the 2nd pick and three future number ones. We then parlay the number 2 pick into the 4th pick and 2 future number ones. By the time we actually take a guy it will be in the low 20's but we'll have stockpiled 18 future number one picks. Somewhere during the 2nd round we find out Sarver has now sold all the future picks for cash but we kept our own second rounder.

Am I the only who who, for some twisted reason, wants to keep seeing the Suns get embarrassed?

I've come to accept that this team won't sneak in as a 6-8 seed and potentially upset someone, so now I've started to enjoy each loss, only because it must be killing Sarver. Two games away from the NBA Finals last year, and now this.

It's a bad habit you got there.

Nice steal by Nash leading to a fast break dunk by Childress. :)

Wow, after missing a three, VC didn't even make an attempt to get back on defense and his man was wide open for a layup. Bum.

Once again one of the slowest paced teams in the (4th slowest pace plus 4th fewest fast break points per game) is burning the Suns in transition.

Suns tied at 28 after the 1st quarter. Suns shooting 46% with 2/5 3 pointers, Nets 52% with 1/5 3 pointers. :(

Suns have committed 4 turnovers (Nash with 2), Nets 3.

Suns have 4 offensive rebounds, Nets 2. :)

Suns have hit 4/4 free throws, Nets have hit 5/8 free throws. :(

Big 1st quarter by Carter with 13 points on 5/8 field goals 2/3 3 pointers 1/1 free throws. :)

Slow start by the Suns but they did pick things up. Poor defense as the Nets normally shoot 43%.
