I don't know about the rest of you, but I agree with a little bit from several people's posts.
1. A completely healthy Tom Gugliotta would not be considered among the top power forwards in the NBA right now much less in history.
2. I agree with Eric about Tom Gugliotta's rehabilitation. It's great that he worked hard to get back, but I don't believe for a second the list because he is such a good guy. Frankly, usually once a high-priced player has suffered that devastating an injury the team is better if he just retires. The Suns would be much better off today if Googs had never come back. I think Tom Gugliotta worked hard to get back on the court because he loves playing basketball.
3. I don't fault Tom Gugliotta one bit for not opting out of his contract. I don't think he'll look back and regret it. A handful of Phoenix Suns not like ourselves may know how much better off the team would be without him next season, but 99% of the fans out there have no clue.
4. Call me crazy, but I still believe Tom Gugliotta can be a decent bench player. He's not going to be the sixth man of the year next year. However he could give the Phoenix Suns some much-needed shooting. Remember that before his latest injury he was shooting the ball very well.
That's all I have to say about that.
