A scouting report from a Doug Haller article at azcentral dated 1-26-17:

Watson on Denver: "They're playing great as far as moving the ball at home, 30 assists a game in this month of January. Since Dec. 15, No. 2 in offensive efficiency. (Nikola) Jokic is growing in front of our eyes. They're getting help -- Gary Harris, Will Barton are playing, we haven't seen those guys yet. Jameer Nelson is the untalked-about star of their team. He's playing with the same mindset and rhythm as he played in Orlando when he was an All-Star. He's been efficient from 3 and a silent assassin running the team and just leading them at the point position."

Malone on Phoenix: "Scary team. A get-back team. Those guys, they come at you in waves. Thirty-two fast-break points (Tuesday) against Minnesota and they had over 20 in our two wins against them. The biggest key is getting back for 48 (minutes) and defending without fouling. Booker and Bledsoe put tremendous pressure on you. In our two games (against them) they're averaging over 32 free-throw attempts per game. And then lastly, rebounding. They have a lot of athletic bigs. Marquese Chriss has gotten a lot better since we played them earlier this season. We have to make sure we give them one shot."

It looks like Devin Booker is off to a good start with 9 points in the 1st quarter.

Does anyone know if he didn't start? Just looking at ESPN stats. They have him as part of the bench.

These lineups are weird with Dudley, Barbosa, Tucker, Warren and Knight in the game at the same time.

What drives me crazy about BK is that he can make big time plays. He's quick, he has a desent handle and he is athletic.

Then he's a black hole for 3 straight games.

Knight has 13 points and 3 assists. Look quick. He looks good playing small ball.

This is true but he has been playing better of late.

Last couple of games with the nuggets have been painful endings but fun to watch. Seems like these two teams match up well

Bledsoe made 35 FTs before his first miss.

Halftime:

Suns 61- Nuggets 57

The Suns are playing takeaway as the Nuggets keep coughing up the ball.

It's great to see Warren playing well with 13 points in the 3rd quarter.

The Suns need to quit making bad fouls on 3 point shooters. Booker and Tucker are guilty of at least a couple.

The Suns waited too long to respond to their size advantage.

They've tried every big man on the roster, this isn't on the coaches IMO. Chandler has not looked like the Tyson of late at all, he's nailed to the floor and losing a lot of rebounds that he'd normally grab.

I agree about Chandler tonight but I think the Suns should have paired Chandler and Len together to give the Suns a chance down the stretch. It's just been too easy for Jokic.

Yeesh the way that 4th quarter ended was aggravating! Jokic is a freaking load, Chandler just could do nothing to stop him. Hope his injury is nothing serious.

I still like what I'm seeing from Bledsoe, one issue I'm noticing is that for an 85% FT shooter he sure seems to miss a lot down the stretch. Just needs to work on that.

Suns look tired. The Nuggets always seem to be a physical team year after year.

Now we get to play them again Saturday at home.

Good loss, thankfully this team finds new ways to lose because... they are right now way better more talented than a 15-31 team and will start winning games.

Hopefully we are in a deep enough hole that winning games will still get us an impact player in the draft.
