any other spellings of squeeze? ;)

no matter how you look at it, winning vs a top 5 team in the nba on the 2nd of a back to back is big. whether by 1 or 20. i dont see it as squeezing by.
so winning by 1pt is not SQUEEZING by? explain that to me, please.

the refs didnt give us the game, if thats what you are implying. the ft discrepncy was largely due to the # of jumpers taken by the suns vs how many times we attack (because we cant make jumpers...we have to drive to the basket). you cant get fts taking 3s (and since you made almsot all of them i cant blame you for taking them...glad you missed the last 2 big ones though)

So you don't consider having a starter (who happens to be one of your best defenders and 3 point shooters) ejected by an official a major influence on a game? You can't be serious. He was ejected for laughing. The same thing that Tim Duncan did. The same thing that got that Ref suspended. You can't lose a major piece of your starting lineup when your already missing a guy in Grant Hill who averages 15 PPG.

Nugsfan just to let you know YOUR team is more of a jumpshooting team than the Suns are so the fact they shot 50fts is very suspicious. The Refs SUCKED out loud it wasn't even close to being evenly officiated game. Thats ok the players know it they know the Refs had to help them beat a very, very shorthanded Suns team on the 2 night of a B2B.

Melo scored 7 pts after Bells ridiculous ejection, and then Diaw fouled out when replays clearly showed shaq fouled melo on that play. So the suns were without 3 of their top 7 after Diaw fouled out. When the suns were already missing a starter(Hill), I thinks its safe to say that 2 terriible calls probably cost the suns the game. By the way, the suns are NOT a top 5 team without Hill. A Diaw/skinner bench on the second of back to backs is what every NBA opponent wants to see from the suns. The suns are probably a top 15 team without hill, their best perimeter defender, and 2nd best player at running the offense. When Nash sits, Hill is the guy who runs the offense, NOT LB. LB is terrible at running the suns offense. Enjoy your team, kenny and chuck are getting the fishing gear ready for AI, Melo and Marcus, its time to go fishing very soon for them.

I fear the Suns may just be content with the win last night and a guaranteed split in the home and home series. I think they'll come out sluggish and dig themselves in another hole that they won't be able to recover from.

Denver 126
Suns 119

The positive is that frequently I'm full of crap, so there's always hope that this is one of those times.
WOW....turns out I was one missed Shaq free throw from hitting the jackpot on this game.

I guess I'm not full of crap after all.....this time anyway.

just the wording of it - makes it sound like we just survived as opposed to winning the game. you can call it whatever you want i guess.

im pretty sure you arent allowed to laugh at the refs for a call anyways. you cant mock them - that is a reason to get a tech. it just happened to be his second. plus theres no way you can say that would have changed the outcome anyways (and he was only 1-6 at the time...maybe he would have taken shots away from barbosa :) )

we are more of a jumpshooting team? lol. who on our team can shoot from the outside? jr? sure. najera takes a few. kleiza takes a few. we always attack with melo, jr, ai, kmart, etc...

you guys took 29 3s! 29! you guys too way more jumpers than us.

the refs were bad, but both sides got screwed by the refs on both sides of the court. they didnt help us win at all. (and guess what - we were also on the 2nd of a B2B...)

Are you allowed to turn to the ref and say "F*** you, man!"? Well, there you go. Are you allowed to slam the ball to the floor in protest after a call? Well, there you go. And on and on. And the Nuggets won and played well enough to win. Kudos to them. Looks increasingly like they will be in for first round fodder again.

Um...if it wasn't allowed the the REF that did the same to Duncan would not have gotten fined and suspended. Obviously, the league doesn't view laughing at a call grounds for a "T".

Also, Raja is streaky. 1 for 6 means nothing. Most of all his defense is more important anyway. So I would say that had a huge impact by a bad call.

Hello? Do you watch the NBA? Melo laughed after every offensive foul he was called for. How many techs for that did he get?

He is freakin clueless in his own words "the refs didn't help us win at all" with that statement he loses ANY creditability.

Totally two different scenarios. Duncan was "on the bench" and not even in the game. Crawford and Duncan also had a history of butting heads and Crawford had some disipline issues on the tabe at the time. The Duncan ejection was final straw. Duncan was laughing with his teamates and not on the floor mocking the ref about a call on him. Yes, when Duncan was called for the T, he then mocked crawford by continuing in an overt manner. Its not the same and you know it. Raja got a cheap foul, YES IT WAS A AWFUL CALL, he laughed at it which is ok...but once you see you are upstaging the ref... you either play the smart card and back off...or play the dumb one and continue on and get tossed. He chose the dumb one.

In addition, with all the whinning about being mistreated by the refs, why is it that the suns rank someone around 20 out of the 30 teams on calls against? Also behnnd the lakers, celtics and nuggets in T's. 20th out of 30 and you act like the most persecuited team in the history of the game. Stop griping and play ball.

It is? Show me where the league issued a ruling stating that laughing at a Ref is only a "T" if a player is on the floor versus the bench. So until I see such a thing....it is the same. Unless I should believe so because you say so.

Stu Jackson said Raja should not have been ejected.

He also said Amare and Boris deserved to be suspended. He's an idiot. So, as a Suns fan, I would prefer that you don't use that argument. Thanks
