Suns @ Nuggets Sunday game thread 11-24-19

The Suns are back at it again on Sunday playing the Nuggets for the second of back-to back games on the road.

Suddenly with a win on this brief road trip things do not seem quite as bad. Funny what a win can do for the mental outlook. Of course the Nuggets will be very hard to beat.

The Nuggets are 11-3 after beating the Celtics on Friday at home 96-92. They have won 8 of their last 9 games and 4 games in a row.

Suns move above .500 and are 8-7.

Game time is 6 p.m. MST (Arizona).

The game will be televised on FSAZ.

The Suns are presently in 7th place in the Western Conference 1/2 game ahead of the Timberwolves.

Just out of curiosity I'd love to see what Denver's regular season record is against teams that are playing in the tail end of a back to back road trip. I remember someone in that situation knocking them off last year (maybe the year before?) but I'll bet it doesn't happen often.

Suns lead 14-12 in the 1st quarter.

For the most part the Nuggets have been content to shoot outside shots. I suspect this is about to change. Suns have done a good job boxing out.

As suspected the Nuggets are now regularly going inside. It seems almost unfair because the Suns cannot match their size.
