I agree. I really don't think they get as close as they did if Jokic hadn't been ejected.

I agree with this. The Nuggets got fired up after Jokic was ejected.

Listening to the radio back from Ouchie’s was great.

Fox Sports Radio: “The Suns are what we love about sports.”

ESPN Radio: “We now have to ask the question: Are the Suns the favorites to win the title?”

lots and lots and lots of love.

but they ain’t seen nothing yet. This one goes to 11!!!

this isn’t really the case. After the FLagrant FTs, we were up 9. Then put another spurt on them and bumped up the lead to 16 late in the third. I think we got a little big headed there at that point and then the Nuggets made their run when it looked like we thought the series was a wrap. Then we pushed the lead right back.

with or without him wouldn’t have mattered. They were our gimp regardless.

Only saying I think the Nuggets were tougher to beat and harder to defend the remainder of the game without Jokic.

It looked like Michael Malone teared up in the post game interview.

true, but I do think a lot of that was let up after we bumped the lead to 16 after he got booted.

either way, was a classic hump game. They cut the lead to 4, 2, even 1 once but we ALWAYS just came back immediately with like a 5 or 6 point run. Joker or no Joker, they were done.

It's a weird feeling as a Suns fan, but I never felt like Phoenix was going to lose at any point this game. They just looked composed and locked in from the get go, and aside from a couple of short lapses, was tremendous on the defensive end.

I am pretty sure they ejected Jokic to protect him. Had he stayed in the game, I am pretty sure he would have ended up having to be carried off the court.

I found this GIF of the foul on Cam Payne by Nikola Jokic. I'm sure there are better camera angles that show the impact.

Note the contact of the arm to the face when it hits Payne.

There was never any doubt he made contact with his face. It wasn't that bad, IMO. But, whatever, glad he got kicked out.

I think there are some video angles that will change your mind. Could it have been worse? Absolutely.

Watch the impact at the 1:01 mark of the video.

First game I’ve missed in a quite a while. Was I worried at all, no.

watching the replay now.

I said after game 1, that changes to the starting lineup were needed. Nuggets finally did that. And I thought they could have allowed Gordon to post up more. Coaching played a big part in them losing this bad.

Someone has a really cool new avatar. I like it a lot. A new generation of Suns fans on the rise!
Actually this was during the 93 run. It is my 2 sons and my grandson. Yes, one of my sons and my grandson are the same age CUE: "If you son and grandson are the same age you might be a redneck". Yes my wife and daughter were pregnant with the same due date and and had the same doctor and made their appointments at the same time. Kind of like Father of the Bride Part II. Also Jeff Hornacek's wife was pregnant at the same time and I saw them during our visits. OK, no more boring details except my wife had our son first and when I showed up for my daughter's delivery the doctor said "you again?".
