I don't think this would be an issue. If rumors have any validity, the Suns have been waiting for this opportunity.

Yep, not to mention according to Flex we are Durants #1 choice and Miami is #2

i don't like Durant -- personally. as in, his personality.
but there's nothing to not like about him as a player
(though, i'd much prefer him to play less one-on-one, he's one of the few players with the cred to pull it off)

that being said, i think we're in desperation mode in regards to competing for the title next season.
Atyon leaving? maybe losing McGee too. CP3's age

i don't think i'm willing to give up more than Ayton and picks, though.
with maybe Crowder in the mix. but not Bridges or Cam

It's pretty much set in stone. The Suns will do something BIG or small either very soon or at a later date.
The Suns are very motivated to do something involving DA or not.
My sources tell me something about continuity moving forward one foot in front of the other and adjustments.

Ah, right. Whatever he’s signed to now wouldn’t technically be the rookie max. Well that’s a huge bit of differentiation in our favor.
