If the Nets don’t truly want Ayton then I do. Booker isn’t going there (which seems to be reality not me saying that) and I don’t see how anything else works unless they take CP. And I still like Ayton!

If the Celtics want to offer Jaylen Brown plus for Durant, they should do it and be done with it.

The Nets are not posturing about Ayton. They really don't want him.

Yeah, but if he doesn't like us, it's a problem.

Well now if we don’t bring Ayton back we are looking at a huge hole up front for an already weak rebounding team
James Jones is in an all-or-nothing predicament now

Someone should tell Jake Fischer at Bleacher report that he doesn't understand how the NBA works. He's still doubling down on the Nets needing Booker in return. Ben Simmons makes that literally impossible.
You don’t think the nets would trade Simmons to make that work? That’s what everyone is overlooking about that rule. All they have to do is move Simmons and -BAM- that restriction no longer exists for the nets.

This seems to dispute the report they still want to play together. I think that idea is old from this afternoon. This is getting ridiculous.

i don't believe KD still wants to play with Kyrie for 1 minute. If he said otherwise it's just to save face because getting together was both of their ideas -- but a complete failure. And Kyrie was a total pain in the hole.

It may be whoever folds last, gets Durant.

That is ridiculous, if true.

Can we at least agree that the Max might not have been the market for Ayton after all? Every team “linked” to him either took themselves out of the running or like Atlanta, apparently likes him but not for the Max.
I’ve been biting my tongue on this until he actually signs. But smoke signals are pointing to a lot of suns posters being wrong on that front.

Kyrie and KD alone are getting 80 million a year

Nobody can match that salary especially not us. Even with sending CP3

Nobody is doing that. I was looking at the time stamp. Looks like he was early this afternoon that was floating around. I have not seen anybody report it since. Nobody can just clear 80 million for them to play together.

Even if we make this KD trade for Ayton, bridges and Cam… who will be left in FA that could even round out the roster?

And I’m slipping further into the depths of KD despair by the second.

Suns biggest need is another point guard. They should snatch one up if there are any worthwhile.

Re-Sign Biyombo and check out health of Kaminsky for minimum deals.
