I’m disappointed with him tonight but I think you undervalue his contribution to the defense.

I watch people drive on him all the time. I would say he does foul smartly though. I don’t see anyone afraid to go at him, he doesn’t deter much of anyone.

I consider Ayton and Bridges as our defensive anchors doing most of the leg work, and Paul and Booker our offensive guys. We need that 5th piece to tie them together.

Pure stats I think crowder is at 10pts and 4reb for the year, which is not that great. Sorry I just think if we had someone a little more dynamic we’d be that much better.

There is some truth to this. How many times have we seen a good first half by Ayton and then he never touches the ball in the second? That’s one of the few issues I have with Monty. We don’t get dominating games from DA often, we need to take advantage for 48 minutes.

Disagree. I think it would help the defense of the second unit. Crowder/McGee/Stix could defensively have a similar impact as Ayton/CamJ/Bridges. Only thing putting the first unit over the top is Bridges better on ball defending.
