The Suns look utterly incompetent this entire series. Monty has been poor as can be, too.

I wouldn’t go so far as “utterly incompetent.” But, everyone thought we were still the better team without Book. Thus far, that hasn’t at all looked the case, as the Pelicans have outplayed the Suns throughout the 3+ games so far…

Really disappointed with this effort. And Monty is getting abused on halftime adjustments.

It’s not just effort. There are guys who have not showed up since the playoffs started. There are guys like Payne who have not played well for over a month.

Paul looks tired, Crowder, Cam in foul trouble. Our only hope is more heroics by him in the 4th. I just have zero confidence in other guys showing up but our centers.

This is a long, athletic, skilled pelicans team. Everyone has to remember they got a new head coach which meant a new system and then got McCollum and nance late in the season and play three rookies heavy minutes. These aren’t the same pelicans from the beginning of the season. This is a really good team. And we don’t have Booker. And we are playing our former coach who knows our personal and our offense and defense. Not saying we aren’t missing a lot of shots we usually hit, but this pelicans team isn’t a normal 8 seed.
