I can't fault the Suns for passing on a player like Blair. Everyone knew he would be effective in the NBA (for the games he played) but most teams were unwilling to take the risk. The NBA is such a grind it seemed foolhardy to take someone that had already suffered serious knee damage.

Actually, I'm quite serious about Blair. He was a highly regarded player until the word went around that he basically had no cartilage. Without that concern he's probably a top 15 pick easy. Based on our track record he probably wouldn't have been a prime target for us but I'm confident they would have spent a second round pick on him had it not been for his knees. It might have only been for the BPA/trade value he brings but we'd have done it nonetheless, IMO.

And technically speaking, wouldn't you have to buy my post first before selling it?:)
