What do you guys think... I have the game recorded... should I watch it or not? (Marshall getting his first NBA bucket doesn't intrigue me.)

I would not recommend it unless one needs to puke.

Went to work after the game,
agreed AZ the game was pretty much lost although 20 points in more than a quarter left in the game is doable, but then again highly unlikely...
But did gentry forget about Goran's performance in San Antonio few years ago. This is definitely not helping building up his confidence by benching/punishing him for poor team performance and with that low number of assists. And who needs a good scorer on a team when you need one and we do, right? Perhaps try him at sg position, simply play him more. Can't help much or be even be a key player with only 26-29 minutes per game (last 4 games or so).. Also Johnson should get more minutes regularly. I don't know why Gentry didn't put him in when we needed someone to score the basket earlier in the season anyway. Gortat on the other side, OMG.

I think forcing him to stay on the court for a 40 point demolition would have been more punishment. The main reason Dragic played such few minutes is because he was in foul trouble throughout the first half. Then things got out of hand so quickly in the 2nd half that keeping our... ahem... "stars" in the game would have been pointless. Game 3 of a 5 game East coast trip, might as well use the rout to preserve their legs.

Agreed. From what I've heard Gentry say, he's very fond and supportive of Dragic so I don't think there's any punishment going on here. Eddie probably didn't help the situation when he basically said the starters were being pulled as a group to teach them a lesson.

OK, I believe you guys, at least hope so. Anyway there has been some games before too, when he was doing good if not great, but Gentry obviously waited too long with his returns, especially in second and fourth quarters of the games and we lost momentum or sth like that. Sometimes I even got scared or worried will he ever return LOL, what has he done wrong to deserve this, is he injured or what, fatigued maybe so he gets back in at 3 or 4 minute mark. Bottom line, he's just not playing as much as he did in Houston(watched almost all games when he started), so we can't even expect same things from him statistically looking. Forget about the foul trouble yesterday, I know about it and yes it did play a big part in his performance yesterday. Offensively he seemed to be on at the start of the game but then fouls, it was more about second half yesterday, but true that the game was pretty much lost...Well hope for completely different story next time, it wouldn't be the first time this season though. GO SUNS!!

Well we knew this team was pretty weak on paper, but it took a month before they showed just how bad they can play collectively. I thought before the start of season that many records might fall and not in a good way. The Suns were getting down by double digits in virtually every game so it was inevitable that they would have a game like this eventually. I'd say the games they've won so far they've overachieved, but they haven't really beaten anyone good either.

I've forgotten to watch the last few Suns games. Why? I'm addicted to watching the Brooklyn Nets. As a lifelong Brooklynite, I've dreamed of the day this city would have their own team. Truly enjoying the new Nets and they have a solid team with great defense.

Wow, the Suns are bad. I knew they weren't good but this was a disaster of bibilical propertions.

Third worst loss in team history. Worst loss since 1988.

The only good thing I can say about the Suns in this one was they weren't laughing it up on the bench. All sullen faces.

Did he say that, Steve? I heard EJ say that he pulled them as a group so as not to single out any of them. Pretty diplomatic, so he wouldn't have to show the world who he thought were the biggest disappointments.

Yeah, he wasn't really attacking the players but he did say what I mentioned in addition to your comment. He may have been trying to be diplomatic but he was also presuming (something he does a lot of) without acknowledging that he was just speculating.

It was about time to substitute anyway and tempers were running high on the court and that one ref was clearly near his breaking point with our team. I think he pulled them as a unit as much to head off more problems with the refs as he did for any other reason. Maybe Eddie was right and he was trying to send a message without singling out any one player but there was more than one possible reason for subbing as he did.
