This is why I would like to see Gentry fired. Too many times the Suns come out flat. We come out unprepared and that is the HC's fault.

And please don't try to give me some BS about how the Pistons are way more talented that the Suns. Their not.

Seriously??? You wouldn't trade our roster for theirs? I would, in a heartbeat. They aren't a good team yet but if you're looking at their record you should also look at their schedule. I doubt we would have won 3 games against their schedule.

We're a jump shooting team with no go to scorer, there are going to be a ton of nights where we come out "flat". And its not even that they came out flat, it was tied 24-24 after 1. Awful shooting and fouls screwing up the rotation caused them to come unraveled in the 2nd. And FYI, the Suns were underdogs coming into this game, so most would say the Pistons and the Suns are, at worst, on an equal playing field in terms of talent.

Its really funny that you think our struggles are the coaches fault when his ingenuitive use of our bench is the only reason we are even close to .500.

Please Marshall... spend every spare minute you have working on your jumper. Its ugly. But his court vision is phenomenal (that pass to Dudley from the lane was a beaut).

I mentioned it earlier but seriously, is it not obvious to everyone here that Detroit has a lot more talent than we do? I think Dragic is the only guy on our roster that would see the court with that team. Heck, I'd trade our whole roster for Andre Drummond and wait for him to grow into his talent.

That is during a mid 1st quarter timeout... yikes.

Speaking of yikes, this game is getting ugly. Our defense is non-existent right now.

Zero people in the upper deck, too.

... I stepped away to eat. I see whatever wheels were left on have flown off.

This coach is done. Giving up on Dragic, it's nt his fault players can't score. Now he's sticking with Marshall and Dudley and we've gone from 25 to 40 minus. I don't understand how is that better. Just embarrassing to say the least.

Yeah but it's probably not completely your fault. Next time schedule your meals accordingly just to play it safe though.

It hasn't been pretty and somehow we've managed to turn Charlie Villanueva into a superstar. I did not think that was possible.

Well, the bench group was starting to show a little life when the bottom fell out. At that point it made little sense to bring Dragic back in. We weren't going to get back in this game no matter what.

Well, even with his awful evening I cant lay this one on the Sleaze. When you lose by 40 (no matter who you're playing) its a team effort.

Looking at the box score there isnt a single player on our team who put together a remotely decent stat line. I guess Jermaine O'Neal came the closest with 4 points 7 boards and a pulled quad.

AzStevenCal, I decided to just sit back and watch the Suns players play the game and watch the beauty of the game as you suggested.

you can actually watch this group of players out there and be entertained.

It didn't work. Any more advice. :lmao:

Wow, the Suns are bad. I knew they weren't good but this was a disaster of bibilical propertions.

What do you guys think... I have the game recorded... should I watch it or not? (Marshall getting his first NBA bucket doesn't intrigue me.)

Went to work after the game,
agreed AZ the game was pretty much lost although 20 points in more than a quarter left in the game is doable, but then again highly unlikely...
But did gentry forget about Goran's performance in San Antonio few years ago. This is definitely not helping building up his confidence by benching/punishing him for poor team performance and with that low number of assists. And who needs a good scorer on a team when you need one and we do, right? Perhaps try him at sg position, simply play him more. Can't help much or be even be a key player with only 26-29 minutes per game (last 4 games or so).. Also Johnson should get more minutes regularly. I don't know why Gentry didn't put him in when we needed someone to score the basket earlier in the season anyway. Gortat on the other side, OMG.
