This is the first really fun Suns game I've seen in months. This is a different team with Richards. Three wasn't falling, but Richards got them some rebounds for easy second-chance points, and he also gave them an actual roller and a cutter. He is obviously not up to speed but he played really well.

They did a good job reducing turnovers in the second half as well, got to the line, and they just refused to fold at any point. Dunn played well, and Booker and KD did a great job.

His defensive spacing and timing combined with his size was crucial for a lot of rushed shots in the paint which normally would go in against us. Oso has a lot to learn by watching Richards. Actually, we'd be fine with the current quartett at C as Nurk can add size against bigger centers like Jokic.
And, KD is still mentally lazy as to swithcing and rotating on D, to a lesser extent Booker too. If we don't fix that and get them learn proper switching, we are still going nowhere with this team.
On O, Richards presence is also huge, enabling more effective PNR with Tyus, KD and Book. We got Duren, Steward into quick fouls by attacking the rim. Also, KD and Book are finally selling obvious offball fouls of defender trying aggressive to deny them the passes, they have been constantly fouled in those cases in every game, but refs rarely called. OKC's Dort always overselling even small contacts and refs rewards him. That's insane.
