Rubio is every bit as bad as I thought he was.

signing him was just a bad idea. Guards have to be able to shoot if they are getting minutes.

it really pisses me off we are stuck with him for 2 more years and Indiana got brogdan.

Yup, but there remain those on this board (and in the front office, apparently) who think we need shooting off the bench more than we need rebounding, rim protection or interior defense...

we need both, but we need scoring more.

$17 million a season is an awful lot to pay for a back-up point guard.

And besides, where are we supposed to get an upgrade?

And even if we do, where do we get a power forward?

I concur, which in my opinion brings us back to power forward as priority #1.

If we had a balanced team, wouldn't we be OK with 10 points and 10-12 assists from Rubio?

Especially if we didn't have to go back to Book covering two positions?

Balanced meaning a backup Center, a starting and a backup Power Forward, a backup Shooting
Guard and a backup Point Guard.

I just know we are at 20 wins...1 better than last year. All the doom and gloom and we still got 30 to play. Are we in a bad funk right now? Yes. But ill take this route over anything we saw the last 4yrs. Lets see what happens and lets get healthy. This team has lost so many close games ...the past week has been tough as we arent as close...lets get healthy.

Kind of hard to get healthy when we have a bunch of players who have chronic health issues (Cam Johnson and Baynes), who have a ton of wear and tear (Rubio) or who are just soft and wimpy (Saric and Kaminsky). The only "normal" injury we have is Tyler Johnson, and, well, he sucks....

Right now we are playing like we may only win 10 out of those last 30. That is depressing.
