Suns @ Raptors Friday game thread 3-26-2021

The Suns wrap up their four game road trip at the Raptors on Friday and the Hornets on Sunday.

Raptors are 18-26 after breaking a nine game losing streak with a 135-111 home win over the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Suns drop to 29-14 after losing at the Magic on Wednesday.

The game will be televised on FSAZ.

Start time is listed at 4:30 p.m. Arizona time.

Conceivably Gary Trent could play against the Suns.

Not worried about Trent playing for Toronto or not. They lost Powell and he won't replace that production in his first game there. This should be an easy game for us but the easiest opponents have been the hardest to shutdown.

I'd feel better if Kyle Lowry had been traded.

If we are hoping that opposing players don't play or don't play well then the Suns aren't as good as we hope they are. I personally don't think they are there yet. But I still look forward to every game - especially against good, or at least historically good teams - and I sleep well when they win and am frustrated when they lose. And every loss has been frustrating this season - it is either to a poor team ("How in the world did you let this happen?") or a close game no matter the opponent ("How in the world did you let this happen?"). So at least we haven't played a good team poorly, except perhaps the Clippers.
