When Texas wins tomorrow we are going to REALLY wonder about the targeting penalty

I wish his left arm wasn’t hanging by a thread. He couldn’t use his left are and he was still a factor. I think he would have had a much bigger impact if healthy.Abdul Carter looking good
Go Bucks
Farcical call. When Texas wins tomorrow we are going to REALLY wonder about the targeting penalty
This Irish QB doesn't look horrible either

not an NFL passerThis Irish QB doesn't look horrible either
Texas Fans as just as badI despise Ohio State fans. They are Miami fan adjacent
My point exactly. All this gnashing of teeth and hand wringing over what Texas did and that was as blatant as it got. The ASU defender left his feet and went high. I thought it was obvious even in live action the way the Texas receiver's head snapped back. What nobody is talking about is the other non targeting call on the ASU INT.
The other defender went right to the WR's head.

Agreed. I don't see how ND can win without being able to throw the ball.not an NFL passer
That play got looked at and was determined not to be targeting. One of those bang bang plays and you could tell the defender pulled back when he likely could have clobbered the other player. It was talked about during the game on the broadcast. What nobody is talking about is the other non targeting call on the ASU INT.
The other defender went right to the WR's head.

He hit him with his shoulder and not his helmet. He may have pulled back but it was still a hit to the head and his head went backwards. Both plays were very close and could have gone either way...I am glad they cancelled out.
My point is that everyone is talking about the Texas non-call when you have the same thing on ASU that wasn't called.

good point. if there was some type of texas bias why not overrule that interception? that would have hurt ASU a lot more than the other no call. I feel like Dez still caught it.He may have pulled back but it was still a hit to the head and his head went backwards. Both plays were very close and could have gone either way...I am glad they cancelled out.

that's why I thought Penn State would win. I was impressed with ND in the end and think they have a chance in the title game. doubt it will be like their last one where they got blown away. but it wouldn't bother if they did.Agreed. I don't see how ND can win without being able to throw the ball.
No need for conspiracies when it's texas and Ohio state. either one would provide a good matchup for ND. I think Ohio State will win though. hope I'm wrong. When Texas wins tomorrow we are going to REALLY wonder about the targeting penalty
