Granted ping pong balls can go any which way but as a poker player I have a great appreciation for odds and how powerful they can be.

Why take a chance keeping Bledsoe when he probably won't be around long term and his value is peaked right now. What is the point in having him unless he's hooked up with another star.

You're bouncing around here, I'm not disagreeing with the idea of trading Bledsoe. I just disagree with the "oh no, how will we ever recover" attitude you've presented should we slide to 5 in the draft.

I think there is a significant difference between a #1 or #2 versus a #4 or #5...Both in quality and maybe more importantly in the mindset of GM's and fans. Why jeopardize that unless there is some definate gain to be had. We have more to gain by trading Bledsoe now than keeping him...But I'm not in the inside loop with the suns so I don't know what their plans are.

I agree with all this. Again, I just disagree with the idea that's it the end of the world.
