As fans, of course we are always going to root for losses in these circumstances. Cheesebeef and his ilk can insult and flat out lie about me all he wants, but the facts don't change. Tanking is a fantasy in today's NBA because you need buy in from players to do it. And that just isn't going to happen.

But hey, cheesebeef and sunsfan44 can continue the personal insults with no repercussions, because, hey, EVERYBODY is angry. And I will say that neither of them are "idiots" for wanting them to lose to get a better draft pick, but they aren't INTENTIONALLY going to do it to satisfy fans. Corporate sponsors are infinitely more important, and they will never bow to having an unwatchable product.

Giannis has very long legs and equally long arms. His stride and his length/reach compared to height gives him a huge advantage over Simmons. It's much better to be 6'10 with a 7'4 wingspan than it is to be 6'10 with a 7'0 wingspan. We'll see how Ben measures out but I'm pretty sure he won't have anywhere near the advantage Giannis has.

It was a stupid win, but I had already resigned myself to getting the 4 spot once brooklyn shut down the only 2 real nba players they have in lopez and young, which is ridiculous since they dont have their pick.

Also we almost have a sure win on our schedule against a new orleans team that is not playing anybody either.

The only hope we have is brooklyn's last two games are against wash, which will be eliminated by then, and toronto which will be locked into the 2 seed. Toronto will for sure rest their best players, hopefully washington does the same.

So it's attack the poster not the post? I never called you ridiculous and in fact made a point to say that your brother is NOT an idiot. I think calling the team stupid, dumb, etc simply because they don't try to lose is ridiculous and will stand by that.

Your brother also accused me of saying I'm ok with these wins, which is another lie. I would much rather the team lose, but I'm not naive enough to think they will lose on purpose. I don't think you should be either. What we want as a handful of die hards is irrelevant to the management of the team.

Chap, I hit this forum a few times a week and check in on the game threads. Inevitably it's nothing but the same 4-5 people complaining that the Suns aren't throwing games on purpose. I don't know why I occasionally chime in and try to outline how asinine that idea is... But here I am.

Where were you when the fans wanted the Suns to win games but they couldn't and they were losing? Like in November and December?
