It looks like the Suns did not want to guarantee the contract of Josh Gray.

Makes sense. Gray didn't look that good and now is the time to try out as many options as possible to see how they fit. If one of them can wow the team then sign him through the remainder of the year and put some sort of 2nd year on the contract to keep them involved with the team through Summer League and other offseason team building.

I don't know anything about Harrison but I'm encouraged by them trying another PG rather than going with a big. If he can play both guard spots he may be given the time that Danuel House was getting because he's got to be pretty close to hitting the 45 day mark on the main roster. He signed December 8th and has played in 16 games since then.

Good catch on the 45 day limit. I had mostly put it out of mind.

Danuel House is out of days with the main roster now. So he won't be back this season. I'm sure they'll keep an eye on him this summer. He wasn't a bad player but wasn't anything that special either.

Only seen a few minutes of the NAZ Suns game today against the Austin Spurs but it was nice to see some friendly faces in Josh Gray, Alec Peters, Danuel House, Davon Reed and Archie Goodwin. One of these days I want to watch an entire game especially since the games are live on the internet.

Not seeing a lot of chatter about him, this dude is looking legit. His defense off the bench has been a thing of beauty. Would like to see him stick around on the 2nd unit, at least for the remainder of the season.

These are the type players that makes one want to watch the games... the hidden gold nuggets.

Harrison has a phenomenal body for a PG.

Saw a stat I had to double check about Harrison, he's never finished an NBA game with a +/- in the negative, which is true, but he has only played in 9 games. Considering how bad the Suns are this year though that is still impressive. It shows he plays really hard, if nothing else. Only 1 of the 9 games he's played in has been a win, also, for some comparison.

Just looked at the link and he had a -1 in 35 seconds of play time in game 5.

Don't know how I missed that but I did. However like you said, it was in just 35 seconds so if he gets at least 1 full minute of playing time then he's able to post a positive +/-.

Last night shows that you can't get a positive +/- on your own. Shaq looked good in his time and was one of the few bright spots for the Suns and yet he had a -3 in limited minutes.
