Alex's and Slavas home is on the edge of a war the Ukraine can't win while being invaded by Russia and almost desperately crying for help to Europe and the United States.
Maybe both of them aren't really focused on the game.
Alex is 20 years old with all of his family and childhood friends living in a country in flames. This has to have a lot of influence to him.

Russia invaded like 3 days ago, Len's struggles began long before that.

Its been obvious all year, dating even back to preseason; Len is not ready to play at the NBA level.

That's true.
But between the "Lenforcer" situation with young and his increasing scruggles, there has happened a lot in his home. The riots, the people being killed in the streets...

Alex is not NBA ready for sure and I think McD will have to explain himself numerous times from now on, depending on the development of Noel and McLemore, but nethertheless: The actual situation - what's just the peak of multiple weeks of violence - has to be considered.

So, I just looked up where in the Ukraine Alex is from, and its the Eastern part right near the Russian border that is primarily Russian speaking. As I understand it much of the Eastern part of the country would be happy to join Russia. I wonder where Len and his family stand on the issue.

I don't. I am far more interested in why he's been playing like crap since those two "Lenforcer" games a couple of weeks ago.

If he's healthy, he needs to go play a couple of weeks in D-League.

I've thought about this as well. Perhaps the reason Len has not been sent to the D-League is because the Suns are carefully monitoring the situation with his feet or perhaps he is doing rehab... maybe both. Anyway, this is my best guess.
