:stick: Sixers without Iggy. Hopefully the Suns bring their best game today. Channing Frye, please make some threes (~20% last 5 games). Isolate Vince and let him go to work, no Iggy to stop him.

With Pietrus playing so well, how do you deny him minutes in favor of Vince?

Or at least if you're not going to take open shots get your butt off the 3 point line and rebound.

Pietrus had one good game for us. That's it. Dudley had 2 great games in a row and then a stinker. These guys need to have several good games in a row before they can supplant Vince Carter.

Because Vince can still play ball? Nash will make Vince a better player and we need his iso game and size that we can use to our advantage. As good as JRich is, Carter's size causes a lot more openings on offense and we don't need to set up screens to let Carter do work.

I hope we can find a consistent scorer.

This has gotta be Gortat's break out game! I hope Lopez gets in foul trouble early so Gortat can get minutes with Nash.

Rather than having Lopez do well? Lopez takes a lot of heat for a 7 foot 22 year old who shoots 50%+ from the field and around 79-80 percent from the FT line. Yea he has rebounding issues but he works hard and is active on the court. I want to see Lopez develop as much as I'd like to see Gortat with Nash.

I have been lobbying for a Gortat-Lopez front court ever since the trade happened.

Lopez has really improved his game. He's starting to knock down that 15-20 ft jumpshot consistently and is finally playing up to the pace of the game.

But if we can't do a front court of Gortat-Lopez, I'd rather have a front court of Gortat-Frye than Lopez-Frye.

Dragic seems to have more chemistry with RoLo than Gorat so that will help him and the bench too I think.

Nash
Carter
Hill
Gortat
Lopez

Let Lopez box out and Gortat grab every rebound. (Similar to Amare at the end of last season.) Question is, can the Suns generate enough offense using this lineup? Gortat would probably average about 14 rebounds a game alongside Lopez.

Gortat is good at the PnR so that should generate some offense with Nash.

Carter is straight up offense and Hill is starting to look decent as well so we would be fit defensively IMO.

Gortat definitely loves the p&r. I was hopeful it would work better with Nash. I still hope so. But it seems like he tries to run it almost every play. Its like he is begging for it. I am not sure I like a guy trying to run it almost every time. There is something pathetic about it.

It's his fetish lol. At least he isn't taking videos of his GF's or wife's feet like Rex Ryan of the Jets.

I like this lineup. Frye could be an asset of the bench and a great help for Goran who likes to drive and break the defense down and kick it out for three.

Yea but its probably because he's new and doesn't know any other plays that well.

Hopefully that will change soon.

Horrible defense. But we're making shots offensively so its good. Still, no Igoudala and we're letting em shoot 56%!

How Hill did not get that basket and 1 is a puzzle to me. I guess like Eddie Johnson, I do not understand continuation.

Suns up 35-33 after the 1st quarter. Suns shooting 63% with 2/5 3 pointers, 76ers 60% with 2/3 3 pointers.

Suns have committed 2 turnovers, 76ers 4.

Suns and 76ers both have 4 offensive rebounds.

Suns have hit 3/4 free throws, 76ers have hit 1/1 free throws.

Good offense from the Suns in the 1st quarter but the defensive rebounding and defense needs to be a lot better. The 76ers normally shoot only 45%.
