Yes, if Zion gets seriously injured or abducted by aliens, he could drop a spot or two. But I'd be beyond shocked if he wasn't the most desired prize come draft day. However, let's say I'm wrong and he falls. One way or the other it will be because he no longer solves our biggest problem so it wouldn't matter anyway. Barrett isn't going to change our fortunes. So again, the odds are long for us with Zion.
I heard rumors the Magic Johnson clone will be unveiled before this next draft!

Why in the world would they clone a front office executive? Anyway, I thought we were happy with James Jones?

I'll bet the Spurs remember their last game against us.

I just hate refs. I bet Bridges isn't too fond of them either, what a freaking joke call.

I think even the referees look down on the Suns.

I'm getting attached to Melton and Okobo. I'd be disappointed if either is traded.

Yeah, I've said it before but they tend to give the calls to the home team, the veteran team, the team with the better record and history/reputation also plays a role. So we're up against it with the men in stripes. I know they have a hard job but it sucks being their whipping boy. We're more than capable of losing big without any help from them.

Well I expect him to be the #1 but let's say the bulls get the first pick I think they would consider barret. I think you're the only person I've ever heard say it's a long shot for the team with the worst record to get the first pick , but also why would his fall be related to the suns needs exactly?

Especially since reports are out that the Coyotes are about to be relocated to Houston.

Phoenix appears to have become pro sports hell.
Coyotes ain't moving. Andrew wants a minority owner who will keep team in az

I know Ayton needs to get more agressive, but it's hard to blame him for some of his lack of engagement when you see plays like the one Jackson just had.

Ayton comes out high for a screen, Jackson dribbles away, cuts to the hoop with Ayton trailing all alone, Jackson draws a TRIPLE team and tries a hopeless layup. If he just leaves the ball behind for Ayton to gather the Spurs are getting slammed on.

When the heck did Ayton develop butterfingers? He was grabbing a lot more boards and passes cleanly in summer league and earlier in the season, but for a few weeks now he's letting the ball get away from him. Does he have an undisclosed hand injury? Jammed finger(s)?

Well, I could be wrong but I don't look at Zion as a first pick in a typical draft. To me, he's a game changer and the kind of pick every team wants at almost any cost. And if you haven't heard someone else call it a long shot, wait a while and you surely will. They changed the rules this year to make tanking a bit less enticing and while we still have a chance at a very good player, 7 to 1 isn't good odds for that top spot.

Perhaps but I don't think so. I've commented before about his hands (prior to the draft) and it is puzzling. At times, he looks like he has great hands but I've seen him fumble away rebounds and passes many times. I've mentioned before that there will come a time when we wish he had Greg Monroe's hands.

The beginning of the season I was marveling at how anything in his range he seemed to grab easily.

I think he's a game changer too and would be stupid to pass on but teams (Phoenix for example) make draft mistakes by picking needs over talent all the time so I wouldn't be surprised to see him go 2nd , and I know they changed the lottery odds but they would still share the best odds, i can definitely see them not getting the pick especially with their luck but a team with the best odds is not a long shot.

Can we please stop playing Bender! He's one of the worst players I've ever seen play professional basketball , i don't think he could even start for a college team
