I give up. The refs are too tough. We have no answer for them.

can't give Marion too much grief - 26 points a couple big shots - he played well enough.

D'Antoni better play phil jackson/pat riley politics after the game, talking about the fouls. It'll have an effect, especially since nobody wants to watch the spurs attempt to draw another record lowest ratings in the nba finals.

I still don't understand why we didn't try to get Raja going in the 2nd half. I just don't get it.

I wish I could share your confidence but the Suns did not do a "hell of a job" tonight.

Duncan killed us and that's fine if he's the only one doing it. In fact, we don't double team him because we want to stay with the other Spurs.

What happens? The Suns let Bowen, Barry, Finley, and even Horry kill us with threes. That point in the third quarter when Barry and Bowen hit back-to-back-to-back WIDE OPEN threes was the turning point.

The Suns will get their 100 points this game and you can't ask for much more than that against the Spurs. However, you can't let the Spurs score around 110 points and expect to win and say the team did a hell of a job.

Amare's foul trouble.
Nash's terrible first half.
Barbosa non-existent.
REFS TAKING OVER THIS GAME.

There was no way we were going to win tonight. Let's hope we can overcome these things in game 4 otherwise it is bye, bye.

Since you're the mayor, can I get a visa to go to Bizarro World? LOL

nope - it's population of ONE!

6 may be a stretch - but are winning Game 4. I've never been more sure of anything in my life.

it wasnt all refs. the suns struggled on both ends and tim duncan ate everything the suns threw at him. san antonio beats the suns system with their main strength, consistency. its not happening this year and not in any years until the suns essentially start over. then again nash isnt getting any younger and marion is probably going to want more money so that may not be easy. dark times are ahead for the suns

Duncan killed us because he knew he can get away with everything on both ends of the floor. It's a nice luxury to have knowing that even if you run someone over the worst thing that can happen is you get to shoot free throws. If Amare was allowed to play without having to worry about picking up fouls, he would have matched what Duncan has done so it wouldn't have been a factor.

I guess my first instinct was right--no way the Suns would be allowed to compete tonight. Too bad, as they wasted a nice-shooting first half.

They should get a fighting chance to win game 4, but it won't be easy.

That was absolutely one of the worst officated games I have ever seen, impossible to watch...

Well, it is the playoffs, the finese style might just not be good enough. Enjoy this team while it lasts...this team doesn't have long.

Refs were bad, BUT. Duncan was great, Nash was off and the suns just didn't play their best game tonight. I agree that the refs were awful, but they didn't decide the game for us.

This is ridiculous. Amare drives to the hoop and clearly gets fouled by Duncan from behind. Nash does the same and Dirty Bowen makes contact right in FRONT of the official!

It's like it's 8 against 5, with 3 of the 8 writing the rules.

Amare meant what he said. And he gets vindicated again tonight--anyone catch Bowen's hit to Nash's groing????

Despicable.

Before I say anything, understand that I'm a Suns fan... However, it still cracks me up to see other Suns fans whine and cry about the refs after each loss... The reality is, as it has been for the last 4 years - is that the Suns are simply not built for post-season success. They can't sustain a high level of team defense in a game or in a clutch series, and they can't execute in the half-court during the post season...
Oh sure, at points in a game they'll run a half court play and trick us into thinking they can actually do it whenever they want. And at times, Marion or Bell will make a defensive play and suddenly, we believe that when it matters, the Suns are actually capable of getting "the" stop...
But no...
We don't have any answer whatsoever for Duncan. He OWNS the Suns...
Our only hope is that we Nash & Amare can score and run the offense well enough to off-set Duncan's dominance on the other end...
I honestly would be shocked if the Suns were to win Monday night...
