Reminds me a whole lot of Stacey Augmon, the defensive specialist F on thise talented UNLV teams. Augmon was taken in the lottery by the Atlanta Hawks. Never was the player he was in college. I say pass on Brewer and go for Horford or Noah, get a PG like Law and a swingman like Nick Young and we're set.

I'd say the comparison to Augman is reasonable, although I think Brewer's length does give Brewer more value. Brewer's arms are really long and he has been able to guard centers and has been a very good rebounder despite some other rebounders on his team. That being said, I really want a bigger guy like Horford who won't get pushed around as often in the low post.
