I forgot how horrible this uni was one it first came out. It really evolved over the years.

Man, that purple is almost lavender in that last pick. Yuck. I hope thats just the lighting, I dont remember them looking THAT bad.

What really killed that look was the grey. I never understood why they added it into the color scheme. You've got these beautiful contrasting colors of purple and orange and you ruin that contrast with a gigantic grey panel. Remember the old grey and purple floor from the early 2000s? Hideous.

I think the simple floor of the Nash years might be my favorite design, and my favorite uniforms being our road purples in the in 1980s.

Based on the various teased pictures, it looks like the new unis will be sort of a modernization of some of the themes in the old unis.

We've seen some streaking orange lines on a white uni. it looks like the 90s streaking logo on the chest.

We've also seen a sunset type logo, but with some grey. Its reminiscent of the setting sun on the original shorts.

Theres likely a reason the Suns brought back the streaking sun logo as an alternate last year, kind of easing us in to that look again.

If they were smart, they'd just do what the Pistons did after they changed from their classic uniforms and went to that awful teal thing with a new logo. Just go back to the classics. Those were money.

I think those are all from 1992 when they were kicking around ideas for the first uniform change.

Orange collar (road) and orange for home. I'm sensing a Halloween theme for home uni's
SUNS(home) PHOENIX(road) diagonal across the chest with the stripes probably tied in.
Number probably on the opposite side of the diagonal.
Sunburst on one leg, maybe both.

Look at the jersey and shorts cuts/stitching, the signs are there.

I'm just glad purple is still primary

It's been floating around some of the other forums.

If anything, it looks like the "sleeved" alternatives. But it probably gives you a good idea of what the standard uni's will look like. (If it's legit.)
