You have to have Holiday playing your de facto PG until Payne comes back. Playing Point Book does nothing to initiate offense AND takes our best offensive weapon and nullifies his ability to score.

Hmm. Well we look much worse on offense than I was expecting.

Come on that’s the least of our problems. How about nobody even trying to get offensive rebounds and tossing up 3 point bricks?
They’re throwing up 3 point bricks because there’s no one with the ability to drive and kick effectively. Booker is a gifted scorer. Let Holiday run the point and let Book cook.

Yupp. He hasn’t taken a shot this quarter. He’s making good plays just needs to get the ball out of his hands quicker versus waiting for the defense to load up

He looks to be trying to play more like Chris Paul running the team.

12 minutes of great offense and 12 minutes of bad offense. And Book wasn’t in for a lot of that 2nd 12 minutes.

So what’s the real team? Sample size is too small to make definitive observations of our play so far.

A lot of those bricks WERE drive and kicks. I agree if Holiday can do it, then have him run the point. But there is no reason at this point to consider Point Book a failure. He was pretty good in the first as Point Book.

What were you expecting with no PG or back up PG and not playing our only even kinda legit PG real minutes?

Well, yes. But to be fair the biggest problem is our guys are missing a ton of 3's he is feeding them.

They don't look comfortable taking the shots.

Booker is a gifted play maker, he gets plenty of "wow" assists typically by driving and kicking, but he isn't a natural facilitator, he doesn't see guys moving off the ball well, he will force passes when things are not there and he does not have the patience that Paul does to bait the defense... but then, virtually no one has Paul's ability at point.
