Oh geez...Amare fouls out with 1:25 left in the 4th quarter. Suns up 108-100.

I wanted this win badly, because the Spurs loss just took the wind out of me. I was glad to see we hustled to get this win even if it was against the Thunder. We did a little experimenting out there with our lineup and it worked. Brown and Dudley look like they can contribute in short spurts. Here is to hoping Nash's injury isn't serious and he will be back to play tomorrow night.

I am off to eat dinner, night guys...

Shaq carried our offense. Barbosa with 6 steals. Dudley was very active with 5 rebounds in under 10 minutes (Amare had 1 in 23 minutes). Barnes with 19/6. JRich with 20. Not a pretty win but still counts.

The 6th foul on Amare was laughable! But we could easily beat them without Amare and Nash.
Dee Brown and Dudley really used their chances to shine well. They definitely deserve more minutes.
Barbosa just so good against bad teams. Still he reverted to driving baseline away from screens with bad results.

Dudley where have you been?

No wonder Bobcat fans talked so highly of him and hated losing him in the Richardson trade. I liked the way he hustled and stuck his nose in there. He has great instinctive talent. IMO, he could become a rotation player.

imo, the 5th foul on amare was bogus as well.
should have been an and1, imo.

and yes a win without nash and amare is nice. better than the last time we faced the thunder, that game was too close for comfort.

Good experience for our bench.
So is this an official declaration that dragic is banished to the D-league with tucker? With nash out, I thought he would at least have a couple of minutes.

Dragic is back in Phoenix because he's sick.

Ugly win but at least it's a win. Hopefully we can win more convincingly tomorrow night.

Suns had 18 fast break points, 16 2nd chance pts, and 60 points in the paint. :)

That 360 dunk by JRich was sick. I was also glad to see him take over for a few minutes on offense. I think we need to turn the guy lose at times.

Someone did a good job guarding Kevin Durant. He's 5 of 17 from the field. Who gets credit for that?

Kevin Durant gets the credit, he couldnt hit crap when wide open, and he was left open a bit. LB did shut him down one play ... but I dont think it was LB.

I'd say Hill mostly, always making it uncomfortable for Durant. As a contrast, Nash always makes his opponents comfortable shooting and lets them get hot and confidence.
