That was some solid basketball, despite the crappy officiating. I have no idea why a soft player like KAT is allowed to get away with so much.

Well, I don't think they gave up on Bender. They just didn't pick up his option. Instead of guaranteeing him $4M or so, they are making him earn his contract.

The only thing, if Bender wants to move on he can as he will be a free agent.

The Suns give up on players too quickly.

I think they have. I think bender will not want to resign if money is equal because we did not pick up his option.

But if Holmes does get a big offer I think going with bender as our backup would not be a terrible idea.

Towns had a picnic in the first half with 28 points.

Bender and Acy did their part on defense though.

Probably but perhaps his game is improving because of Koko? Also, he might want to stay because he and the coach are from the same place (Elsewhere).

Ok I’m going to say something crazy.

I think if bender had smart shot selection, he can be 80 percent of ayton on offense, and he is better than him defensively.

He will make a very good center for somebody, if they get him to play like he has this half.
You cant be serious

2-13 since our great 4 game streak. They need to do something to give us hope. What you got Igor

And not only that, but Phoenix is his home. He is a young kid who moved across the world. I am guessing he feels at home in Phoenix at this point. He knows the coach, he knows the GM, he knows the owner, so the Suns are going to have an advantage. At the end though, I am guessing it will come down to playing time. Say that Mavs tell him he and Kleber will split the minutes at 4 and Suns tell him he is going to be a backup 4 and third center, I am guessing he goes to Dallas.

No they dont, Bender is garbage

For his standards he is having a good game but there is a reason Towns has almost 30 at the half

He has 28 points but a lot of that wasn't with Bender defending him not to mention he had 13 points from the free throw line.

They are going over the back on Bender and getting away with it.

Problem is benders offense is about 20% of Aytons and he can’t rebound.

Booker didn't need to take that last shot.

Perhaps because they are playing against the soft Suns.

TJ was definitely fouled on that drive. I have seen a hell of a lot less contact called than that.

Guy is soft as hell and a lot of Towns scoring was against Bender too

I'm not advocating for Bender but Towns was out there probably 10 minutes without Bender and he scored pretty easy then too. I have too many bad memories of Dragan's play to be swayed by this half but he's played much better D than you're suggesting.

Always something. Sooner or later the excuses have stop. Get it done or get out

Well, sure, they are excuses and good teams don't need excuses. But that's the point, we are young, we are inexperienced and we have less talent than most teams. We're going to have a LOT of excuses until these kids grow up. We'll hopefully have more and more nights where we won't need excuses but that's a ways away.

With the Suns hanging in with 8:00 to go in the 3rd quarter, I wonder if Igor is going to look at, not necessarily the players, but the forced changes in concept that are proving to be beneficial for the Suns.

Or if he will go back to the status quo. In other words, will he use this as a learning experience? It would be a disappointing commentary if Igor is a better coach when he has to make adjustments than when he has to plan.
