That's pretty much what this was about in my opnion Chriss has just disappointed me so much this year
Without Monroe I think Bender would have taken the starting spot from Chriss before the calendar year is over but I think Triano was holding off to keep Chriss from moping. There were interviews with him after Watson was fired where he seemed upset he wasn't in the starting lineup to start the season. He played well for those first 3 or 4 games under Triano but has been vanishing more and more as the year went on. One of the biggest mistakes Watson made last year was gifting Chriss the starting PF spot way before he was ready. I know Dudley isn't much of a PF but he was a better option than Chriss the majority of the time. This year isn't that much different in that regard.

As long he is getting enough minutes, it doesn't matter if he starts. He just needs to keep shooting the ball. With Bender, it's all confidence. Keep shooting, young fellow!
