Isn't Sergio Rodriguez still on the board? I would've liked to see the Suns pick him up with #27.

Farmar's still on the board too.

Coach said he doesn't really like him.

We sold both picks

Wow... if this article is dead on... Sarver needs to leave. Trotting out Amare to make us feel better when the best PG is still avaliable in the draft?

Not to mention that he apparently made about $40 million off of the Suns last year.

Exactly, nothing at all for two first rounders.

Those picks could've been Marcus Williams and Sergio Rodriguez, and we would've been set at Guard for years.

No we need to save money though.

according to Gambo, here is the break down of the trades:
They are saying the Suns traded the 21st pick (Rondo) to Boston for their first round pick next year (which comes from Cleveland). Also, Boston is picking up the contract of Brian Grant (1.8 M)

also, they are saying they are trading the 27th pick for cash considerations, but still no idea who that team would happen to be.

This saves the Suns:

1.2 M (21st)
800K (27th)
1.8 M (Grant)

So no we don't even get a pick in next years draft for this pick.

I'd rather keep Rodriguez than sell him for cash considerations. Getting rid og Grants contract is cool. I honestly wanted Sergio at the PG rather than any others, but if we trade him for cash I'll be upset.

This team is run by retards, glad I'm a Cardinals fan now!

Had a chance at 21 to get the BEST POINT GUARD in the game, instead dumped Grant...please...

Nash isn't going to be there in 5 years....kid could have learned from him...and rarely are the teams in the 20+ going to get the chance to get the best player at any position.

27 made sence...but the 21 pick was ******** with a capital R.

Its already a done deal

Rodriguez to Portland for Cash considerations and probably something weak like a future 2nd rounder to make it look legal.

Thought they made up rules to stop cheap owners from selling picks? Guess Mr.Saver found a way around it.

i'm really dissapointed - suns really could keep Sergio - his salary won't save suns anything much and he could really help the team ! and suns still stay guard short!
i'm disapointed

so I guess the suns better sign (boris, leandro) and keep their players now(marion), although the foamy fan bois should be out any second to tell us how we can't afford any of them either.

ehhh

Suns are playing for it all next year and after that this team is gonna be blown up cause we cant sign Diaw or Barbosa.

Doesn't this let us keep Tim Thomas?
