As it stands today, the Suns minimally need to add a point guard, keep Holmes and add a couple of power forwards in the offseason.

My son kept saying he expects Igor to be fired any day now. I keep saying, but they've already fired the GM, Most of the scouts, the D League boss, and front office people. You can't fire a head coach for the second season in a row early! Who in the NBA would ever come to work for the Suns at that point?

Sure can. This is not James Jones’ coach, this is McD’s guy.

My son and I were discussing a write in campaign to Elon Musk to buy the Suns, ala Cuban. Maybe a group of rappers?

The greatest coach in history is not going to fix these young players not knowing how to play yet...
We are getting lots of open shots and just bricking them.

and how about the Suns defense? is it just that opposing teams keep making their shots?
and their effort? not the coach's job?

like Tom Chamber's said to EJ when he suggested the players eat better meals
-- "that's just crap"

Ayton just played in his second straight blowout without fouling once!

i don't have 14 years of assistant coaching experience
not i day of experience
but i would have told Ayton i want to see him foul out of a few times weeks ago
he would never believe it acceptable to not punish some Trailblazers tonight
--under any other NBA coach!

"not the greatest coach in history" BUT
i'm tired of hearing the BUTS

and some will be happy to know
i'm tired of hearing myself criticize him too
so, i'll back off and let that train run it's course without further redundancy

There is still a part of me that thinks we just haven't been able to get fully adjusted to the system yet and obviously we are playing short handed as well. That being said a team just can't play as poorly as we just did in the last 3 games. The history of the NBA has been full of teams that are terrible from a talent standpoint and they are almost never this embarrassingly bad.

How many times have we seen Paopovich rest the top three OR FOUR guys and still have his team whip our butts? A well coached team is a well coached team.

Even if the offense comes around with the addition of a point guard I don't see any system for the defense. The Suns defense is horrendous. I don't have much hope there.

Every once in awhile Bender looks like Porzingis out on the court. As a poster mentioned, he has gotten bigger.

damn, he does look bigger
and moves well

our other big man -- Chandler, also regressed here
but is doing better with the Lakers

our rookie big man, the #1 pick in the draft,
has also regressed on this team

hmmm
is Bender really a bust?
or another casualty of a bad organization

Supposedly, Ariza was signed because Igor wanted him so badly. So that explains why he continues to play so much. You have to wonder if something similar was behind the Anderson trade, too.

Clearly, if the coach has lost the whole team this early on (as appears to be the case), that is a "coach problem" more than a "player problem." I would submit that it might eventually end up being the owner losing the team... which is far worse. Coaches can be replaced... unless no competent coach (or FO people) want to come work for a terrible owner. You can't not think the players are unaware of all that.

Dark times may get darker still in Suns land.

I think we are poor developing guys. Look at Bender's rookie pics, what a skinny guy! I hate to jettison this guy. He's still ONLY like 21 or 22! In the old days he wouldn't even been out of college to play in the NBA yet. He is very young. He is 3-4 years from reaching peak potential.

And there's the problem right there. Igor Kokoskov doesn't inspire anything in his players other than apathy, lethargy, contempt and disgust.

Tarmac Koko and then Adam Silver should force Sarver to do the Cersei Lannister Walk of Shame up McDowell all the way to the arena so fans can pelt his stupid, foam-fingered ass with anything and everything that they can get their hands on, that won't quite kill him, but let him suffer a horrible horrible pain that never goes away, like the one he's inflicted on us at this point!

That game ended and Arizona already won.

since we're talking about Igor, you want to see an example of good coaching? Watch how Sean Miller adjusted after getting punched in the face in the first half by Utah Valley. Punched right back and much harder.

Can't say I have the same confidence in Igor.

Seriously, I will have to look up how much a half page and full page ad in the Arizona Republic costs. Then maybe we crowd source an ASFN advertisement asking for new ownership for the Suns? LOL!
