Halftime:

Blazers 64 - Suns 55

Suns got a quick 6 points before the break on a 3s by Baynes and Oubre.

McCollum can just shove a defender out of the way?

Nice back to back threes to end the half. Down to nine. Hope they don't quit on Monty at the half.

Suns with 6 points in the last 37 seconds to cut the gap to 64-55.

As EJ said, the Blazers give up leads.

'Hope it happens tonight.

I will say I am more encouraged by the effort in the second quarter, though it begs the question as to why the team came out so flat and uninspired, especially right after getting the monkey off their backs with a good road win.

A 38-19 lead is now a 9 point lead... I am 100% convinced you are on this board to be nothing else but an instigator. There is no way you can be so consistently wrong and actually believe what you're saying.
Antagonize away dude... You have now earned the distinction of being only the 2nd poster I have ever put on ignore. ;)

Happy New Years, we get to watch Dame shoot free throws anytime anyone gets within 3 inches of him shooting.

Blazers getting the star treatment for sure.

I'm still wondering how that drive along the baseline was a shooting foul.

I'd like to see us come out and run a couple plays for Ayton. Let's see if we can get him going.

Saric was scoreless against the Kings and so far is scoreless tonight.

We can still win this game. Even with Ayton a non-factor. As EJ said, it's going to take a long time for him to get his timing.

But not if Rubio is only a token Point Guard and Booker keeps bringing up the ball and dribbling it around. It makes no sense and is hurting the rest of the players on the court!

Oubre needs to keep being The Man for the time being.

Rubio gets his 3rd foul with 9 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter.

Leaving no talented Point Guard on the floor when he comes out.

It seems like Portland gets every call and Suns not so much.

When you're the weaker team on the floor, you're not going to get the calls.

You have to earn them. That's the way it is. The aggressive team gets the calls.

History of the Suns - Part I.

Tonight it feels like the Suns are playing against two teams... Blazers and referees.

Why are our big guys playing like they are afraid to break a nail, right now?

It's clear just how much the time away from the game-time has hurt Ayton and the team. Whenever he is on the floor, their flow is noticeably off... Gonna take some time for sure...
