Suns @ Trail Blazers Monday game thread 2-3-2025

i'm more pleased with Booker's performance in passing to the more open man to send the game into overtime than i am disappointed in the missed free-throw that didn't send us into double overtime.

but losing 2 games back-to-back to Portland when you're fighting to just make the playoffs (for the 2nd season in a row, with the highest payroll) is unacceptable. This season is going nowhere. The only player i'd hang onto is Allen. Maybe Dunn, based on potential.

When DA is motivated, he can be a beast. The problem is he is rarely motivated, and had issues with Suns FO.
Again, the best player of Blazers was Camara next to Avdja. I hope Dunn in a year could be half the player Camara now is.

Portland has some good pieces. Nice to see Ayton putting up some numbers for them.

Suns had a pretty good fight in them. I do not expect to see that urgency carry over to the next game. A bit weird that Richards and Dunn did not get more crunch time minutes but the small lineup kinda worked with Beal, Allen, O'Neale.

OKC will be a tall order. Expecting many minutes of garbage time. We'll see.

yeah that recovery that's always talked about, when he gets beat a little, then recovers to deter the shot, that wasn't there last night.
