Booker out, heath safety protocols

The waiting period for health and safety protocols has been reduced to 5 days with contingencies. We do not know if Booker is symptom free as yet.

As for when he will be available, the NBA in late December shortened the policy on returning if a player tests positive to five days provided they are vaccinated, symptom free and are testing below a set cycle threshold, according to a memo obtained by ESPN.

Let hope that translates into wins. We were negative 20 with in on the floor the other night and we got outrebounded. McGee has been great this season. The team is going to need a bunch of players to step up while CP3 and Book are out of the lineup. I bet Golden State is just salivating right now over the next week.

How does this make sense? If he is Asymptomatic, he only needs to test twice negative in 24 hours to return according to Kellan Olson. If he is showing symptoms, he is out regardless. Flex just said he is out until the middle of next week. That would seem to indicate he is showing symptoms. It can't be both.

In case anyone cares, Frank is scheduled to be re-evaluated this weekend. It is certainly possible that we might be a week or two away of him being available to play. Video of him working out like normal with the big men is a good sign.

I'd like to have Frank back. He is a huge character guy plus he can play.
