We do this every time one of guys gets Covid... everyone starts figuring out the absolute minimum time the player can be out... and it’s always at least 10 days. Was with CP3 last year, was with Ayton/Crowder/McGee. It’ll be the same with Devin. Book it.

We need point Frank.

That video is from last season, but I think a lot of us forget just how well Frank was playing -- I remember being pretty excited about him, and then he got injured seemingly out of nowhere. He had his career high points early in the season and was a big part of the early 18 game win streak.

Frank would help with moving the ball in the second unit. He's obviously not a point guard but his passing and playmaking was largely undervalued previously. He's a much better passer than Dario, who a lot of people credited with being a quality passing big.

Having Frank back won't hurt, that's for sure. He also has the ability to play alongside Ayton or McGee. I believe he spent a few years in Charlotte with Biyombo as well, so there should already be some familiarity there.

I’d love to see him at PF with the second unit.

That's tough because at full strength lineup that would eat into Cam Johnson's minutes. There's a real crunch for the 3/4 minutes because of the relative strength of the Mikal/Crowder/Cam J rotation. I know an easy solution is just to reduce Crowder's minutes but he brings so many intangibles (on BOTH offense and defense, mind you) that I'm not sure it's the best idea.

I guess it's possible Dario Saric might be available sometime during the playoffs if the Suns make a deep run. I'm not counting on it though.

Getting Frank Kaminsky back appears much more likely.

He was already ruled out for the season which got us the injured player exception used to get Holiday, no?

I was going to say something similar to Phrazbit. The Suns got a salary exception (Disabled Player Exception) not a roster exception which they used to acquire Holiday. Saric is still on the Suns roster.

Suns will still have some NBPA leadership on the team. Bismack Biyombo has been reelected as a VP on Executive Committee.

I can't say I like the timing, it would have been nice to get a lot of those Laker spots on national TV back when we were dominating the league. I know it's just a coincidence but it sucks that we are getting so much air time when we're at our most vulnerable.

Hopefully the announcers will acknowledge the Suns are playing without their All-Star back court.

If they win it's all the more sweeter.
