Ok one last time

If those are the NBA rules then EVERYBODY in the the NBA knows the situation we are in. If they are NBA rules then it has nothing to do with him

********

I don't know why you want to label them "NBA rules." The Suns are preparing to sell the team to another owner. They may want to stabilize their assets before the sale. I'm sure the new owners want to have a say in how the team is run.

Jerry Colangelo made certain financial concessions before selling the Suns as well.

A trade for role players gets us nowhere. Just wasting Bookers career. Some guys are happy being the 5th seed
If the Suns can't get him MAJOR help? Not only is the window closed but this is the beginning of the end with Booker in a Suns uniform. He won't stand for several more years of mediocrity and early playoff exits when he is in his prime years.

Bank on it.

If I had a nickel for everytime someone here posted a "Booker will force his way out" guarantee I'd have a bunch of nickels. None of us really know what Devin will do.

You're right, he wants to win. But maybe he loves being the face of a franchise too? Regardless, his long rumored landing spot of LAL isn't looking all that feasible. Unless we start trading away future assets in a futile attempt to win it all this year, we have a solid nucleus and smart drafting could put us right back into contention in a season or two.

I don't recall most people saying it that way. I recall most people feeling like Book is not willing to waste more of his career on a losing team. You can love a franchise but still understand that this is a business and you only have so many years to win a title. Book has made it crystal clear he wants a title. If you think he is going to waste his prime years going through another rebuild you have not been listening to him. Also, allegedly, Book wanted assurances from the ownership that the team would do what it takes to put together a team that can win a title when he signed his last extension.

A team that has never won a title, been through countless rebuilds, countless bouts of looking to the future (building up assets) and still winless (title) can't afford to keep doing what they have been doing.........FOR YEARS. The Suns should do what the D-Backs did. If you have a chance to pull out all the stops to get a shot at a title you don't hesitate.

Ok so there is a rumor going around from various sources saying we can’t give up future first round picks with our owner situation
Well that pretty well screws the team this season if true.

I have a question which anyone who has played basketball themselves (or has particular knowledge of orthopedics) might be able to answer. How is it possible for any basketball player to play a game on a broken foot? I already knew that Kevin McHale played one of his entire playoff series in the 1980s on a broken foot, and I always wondered how he could even move.

Now I'm reading Al McCoy discuss the 1976 Finals in his 2009 biography. Al states that Suns forward/center Dennis Awtrey did the same thing, playing the entire Finals on a broken foot. (Pleased with yourself, McHale? Sorry, some bench guy named Dennis Awtrey did it first.) I thought the same thing: how can a player with a broken foot play competently? The only thing I can guess is that their feet weren't broken very badly, like Cedric Ceballos' foot apparently was in the 1993 WCF.

(Also, incidentally, I didn't realize that Dick van Arsdale was injured that series and Ricky Sobers was replacing him.)
I would say anything is possible depending on your pain tolerance. I played an entire season of football with a fractured arm. I lied to my coach because I thought he would make me sit for weeks. It actually hurt like hell whenever I had contact but I was young and stupid.

Played most of my HS Jr season with a broken foot, a good wrap some advil and learning to sleep with my foot up was all it took.
I think it actually improved my game, made me more aware of what my body was going through.
Still hurts today 30 yrs later cause I never actually went to a doctor or told the coach.
That was back when I was invincible.

I busted a bone in my hand, and had to wear a splint. I kept taking the splint off to play basketball, and found out later everyone was talking about me faking it since I was playing so well. My hand has a slight curvature on that bone now.

Makes sense bc if the pass is coming from book or Ayton those are centers of gravity. I’m sure bridges is most often when the ball is on their hands.

If that dude could shoot just a little bit, he could be a really good piece. Putting him and Biz on floor at same time just kills spacing.
