I like this Bazly move - dude is only 22, and already looks like a useful NBA player - and exactly fits our needs.
Being useful and part of a consistent rotation without drama at 22 is an accomplishment.

Wha? Durant is our new PF/Craig is.
I kinda think of Durant as a pf, but maybe that is just me. I could see Craig or Warren starting next to him at the other forward spot (although CamJ or Mikal would have been perfect, oh well).

Gambo explained how he was able to shoot down all the rumors. He said he spoke to the Suns and they flat out told him they were not giving up 1st round picks (which everyone was asking for in exchange for other team's players unless it was a KD (game changing) type player.

Did I just read Cam Payne has been better than Russ? I don't think so. Payne has been horrendous at times as has been Russ but I'd take Russ in a heartbeat over Payne

There’s one thing this team is missing…

An ass-kicker/bruiser. Probably not getting that this season but a… well… Jae Crowder type is what we should prob look for in the off-season.
That type of player doesn’t jive with Monty, apparently. But you’re right.

Not me. Russ is selfish takes bad shots and does not pass enough.

Bridges being interviewed on TNT right now. Doesn’t seem… overly happy.

He’s a good dude. Wish him the best.

Bazley could be a real steal. That's part of the issue with stockpiling draft picks like OKC, they don't have time for everyone and 1st round picks won't develop if they aren't seeing consistent minutes. He was a high potential athlete who McD probably would have taken in the lotto but he hasn't shown much in 3 years so they need to clear space for their 16 picks over the next 2 years.

Left this board 10 yrs ago and just coming back to watch NBA and my Suns again, is Barton good at D? I starts to dislike Craig taking huge minutes as he is really inefficient, almost useless on offense.

I like Barton. Guess we'll see how things shake out. I prefer Jackson. We have 2 spots but I'd like to add a Forward as well. I can't be greedy though. I'll take what we can get. Barton is a solid consolation if we don't get Jackson but I really don't think we need both.

Barton wouldn't take Craig's minutes. He's a SG who can handle the ball and playmake some. More like a veteran version of Shamet except better, in a way. He won't light it up but he's consistent. Trying to think of someone from a decade back to compare him to but drawing a blank. Maybe a combo guard version of Jared Dudley?

Just curious -- forget about trades and all that, but what is everyone's opinion of Ish Wainwright right now? He's had a pretty good last couple weeks, has become some kind of defensive stopper (who would have thought?) and his 3 has been dropping. I've heard a few people who were angry about dropping DWash and keeping Ish. What do they think now?

And if we don't pick up 2 buyout guys, Ish will get one of those spots. Monty likes him too much not to.
