The role player I’m most interested in is TJ. Brooklyn is such a weird team with all their wings that his minutes fluctuated but he had 17/5 in his last game in vs the Suns in 22 minutes. I didn’t see that game. Anyone remember how he was moving?

Tj is consequential in this trade. The guy can ball.

If nothing else he should serve as an offensive spark off the bench. We don't have a lot of guys on this team that can manufacture buckets, but TJ can.

Funny and yeah, it feels like charity but I wonder what his motive is? If he's pushing for it because he thinks it increases his own chances for a ring then I'm reluctantly in favor of it. I've never cared for Melo's game but CP would know his value better than any of us. But if he's doing it because he simply wants to give his buddy one last chance for a ring, I'd hope we'd pass and look for someone better.

Ish Wainright has only 2 games of availability before the Suns have to decide if they want to convert him to a regular roster spot.

He is presently on a two-way contract and he could remain there as well as Saban Lee.
