It's rather undisputed that he beat the hell out of the mother of his kids... in front of the kids.

I don't want to have that guy on my team.
I am not saying otherwise. I would rather not have the scumbag on my team either.

Ok with Bridges? Let me remind you he pled guilty to felony assault...

On burns and gambo they said he didn’t plead guilty. I thought everything was drop and he was not charged. Maybe I am thinking about another case where a player was charged and turns out it was a money grab.

That's someone else. He pleaded No Contest, was charged and sentenced. The only charges that were dropped were around the kids because he did it front of them.

“According to Johnson's hospital report which she posted to Instagram, she was an "adult victim of abuse by male partner" which included assault by strangulation, brain concussion, closed fracture of nasal bone, contusion of rib, multiple bruises, and a neck muscle strain.”

Wednesday's bold statements:

Without Beal the Suns are a slightly better than .500 team

With an often injured CP3 the Suns would be a slightly below .500 team

With Bradley Beal the Suns are a true home court playoff team - and the more this healthy Suns team plays together - the further we go

How is that a bold statement.

Going into this season this team was widely considered to be a title favorite.

The big 3 can play to the top of their potential and it will not be enough. Our season depends on what we get out of the rest of the roster.

FWIW.

Suns reportedly comfortable giving up assets for Miles Bridges?

Uh huh. Ok.

Hard to take this one seriously. In general it appears we are ok giving up assets for anyone. Since Bridges is the name of the moment, logic dictates that we would be ok giving up assets for him. Only interesting thing about Bridges is that he played for Tom Izzo at Michigan State, which is probably why his name has surfaced in the first place. But a woman-beater isn't exactly a great acquisition, even with his 20ppg stat line.

Miles Bridges does have a no trade clause. Perhaps a similar situation to acquiring Bradley Beal?

More evidence that Thomas runs the show.

He loaded up on low character scum in New York. Not surprising, as he is of low character himself.
I don't think this is evidence of that at all.

Because of the character issues he is by far the best player the Suns might be able to actually acquire with their extremely limited trade assets.

If you are Ishbia and are paying huge tax dollars to win the title I think you have to seriously consider this move, because they are already all in.

I'm not sure where I stand on this, because I see both sides.

This is just stupid IMO.

Royce O'neal is 6'4 and is a streaky shooter. His defensive rating is not good either.

He does not solve any problems for the Suns - especially at the cost of Okogie who is a much better defender.

Seriously tho legal issues aside he would open the floor up even more and loves to dunk and doesn't need alot of room to do it.
I'm sure having a no trade clause is a bonus for us, who wouldn't want to play here atm.

A no trade clause would allow Miles Bridges to choose his destination in a trade.

I know where I stand. We just rid ourselves of the repugnant stench of Sarver’s sexist/misogynistic/racist ass and now we’re going to one up him with a guy who BRUTALLY BEAT A WOMAN?

That’s a HARD NO for me.

His ex's injuries included a broken nose, a concussion, neck injuries from strangulation, a broken rib.

This isn't a case of "she said he said", he did it. He's been found guilty of a beating a woman in front of her children. He did not contest the charge.

In June last year she put out a post hoping people would give him a second chance.

In October, right at the start of the season, he was ordered to appear for violating his protective order after, allegedly, smashing up her car with billiard balls (while the kids were inside) during a visitation hand off. He is due in court for that aggression in late February.

So... not only is he a despicable human being, but there is a fair chance that he will be either jailed or suspended again, THIS SEASON.
