What if we get the Commissioner again?

Yeah, that might have irritated me a bit. Fortunately, I'm at halftime of watching the replay and no Commissioner yet. If you've forgotten, the Press Conference interrupted the original viewing with about a minute to go in the first half. I'm looking forward to seeing what we missed yesterday of Warren.

He's looked great defensively but I expected him to dominate more on offense like the twins did last summer.

Even though Plumlee isn't an offensive juggernaut, he has 3 more years of exp than everyone else and is physically and mentally more mature than anyone else on the floor. He should be getting 20+ pts easily on good shooting imo.

It's Summer League, does a vet center like Plumlee even have the ball in his hands enough to get 20+ pts a game?

I'm glad sunsfan88 and Superbone are on top of this summer league stuff.

I'm glad you got to watch it uncensored, without the Commissioner. :)

He was aggressive and scored within the flow of the game. He set picks constantly and tried to work the pick and roll but the pass did not come often. Can't see what else he could have done. It's obvious they had no intention of running a post-up game.

You are right there and that is kind of disappointing. SL could have been the perfect stage for Plumlee to try out some post moves.

Picking Len over Noel is looking worse and worse considering Len basically missed just as much time as Noel.. might turn out to be one of the worst draft day decisions in Suns history especially considering how obvious it seemed.

Yeah because Noel has proven that he's a superstar now, right?

At least he has shown in summer league that he would have been worth the #1 pick in that draft unlike Len who still looks like a raw stiff out there while Noel misses a year and immediately dominates in summer league.

Um. Noel has not yet played an nba game. Alex Len has played 350 minutes of NBA basketball. Not sure how that qualifies as "just as much time."

Even now, they aren't playing Noel on back to backs. It may end up being a bad decision, but its a bit premature.

I really hate to say this knowing how worried most of us are about Len's health but keep in mind, there are some real long term concerns about Noel's knees. Teams backed off him not just for his ACL injury but because exams suggested further issues.

Based just on ability, taking Len over Noel looks incredibly stupid - then and now. I suspect we'd have gone after Nerlens or bypassed them both if we knew then about Len what we discovered shortly after the draft. Concern over Len's problems also go beyond his initial injury. None of this means they won't both go on to great NBA careers but a wager on Noel looks like the safer bet right now.

Supposedly we have a game at 1pm today according to AZ Republic, though I'm not sure if we're being shown live. There is a summer league game scheduled to be shown at 1pm though on NBATV, but it doesn't have any information as to what it'll be.

If McD can go back in time, I wonder who he would pick between Noel and Len knowing what he knows now.

Noel didn't visit with us, we might not even have had his medical records. We just picked Len and they said they would have picked Len #1.

TJ Warren and Archie Goodwin look promising, but Len and Ennis have me worried when it comes to Suns scouting and evaluation of these players.

Ennis does? He needs to improve his shot although it's not horrible. And he definitely needs to add some strength. But I think he's looked awfully good in Summer League. Within five years he'll be the starting point guard somewhere and he'll be one of the best pure points in the league.

How has Ennis looked "awfully good" to you and yet Goodwin's looked like nothing special?

If both Len and Noel live up to potential I would rather have Len.
That judgment or any analysis of if they will reach their potential doesn't change after 1 summer league game by Noel.

I've watched every minute of the summer league. Ennis looks absolutely fantastic. He is not a bad defender and is a supreme floor general. I do not know why his assist numbers are so low because he constantly makes just the right pass. I am very encouraged about Ennis.
