On second thought, if the officials called the game correctly, we would still be suffering because the game would still be going. For once, I'm happy the're crappy:thumbup:

I think this was the first game of the season in which I actually wanted it to just get over with.

Denver played so badly that you have to wonder.... Maybe they were really playing to win - The James' sweepstakes, that is.

na...no team with a chance at the worst record would win 3 out of 5 this late in the season.....they just suck, but they play hard every night. even tonight when we were up by 20 and pulled our starters they tried fighting back

I was at the game and it was really funny when 8 of the 10 guys in the game were white. We were yelling to take out JJ and put in Tskalidis and for Denver to take out Hilario and put in Ryan Bowen so we could have all white guys on the floor for probably the 1st time in the last 20 years or so.

I couldn't watch the game, but it's great to see that the Suns pounded a weak team the way they were supposed to. How many times has that happened all season? Not nearly enough.

Good job Suns!

Anyone else notice that according to espn's little news blurbs....the suns were ROUTED by the pacers, and we "stepped up in a win"

All this time I thought that 30 points was a rout and 11 was a win, silly me

I didn't notice any headlines from the Denver game, but I did see that one following the Pacers game Sunday. I didn't read the recap, but the headline said something about the Pacers blowing away the Suns. I thought that was a little strange.

I've got an issue with ESPN. I am definitely not one for conspiracies but I am fully questioning their reporting (or lack thereof) for our team.

Rarely does Phoenix get listed in current score updates on the front page, and more often than not there is no article about the game. If there is (like yesterdays') it is posted towards the lower end of stories. Now this win vs. rout thing. You're absolutely right - we weren't blown away by indiana and the 'win' vs. Denver was not just a win, it was a blow out.

Like i said I don't buy into the whole conspiracy thing but i do suspect something is up. Something eerily anti-phoenix. Is it to do with the C's autocratic approach to things (and is this a reason why we never seem to have that proven coach we all so desperately want)? I don't know, come up with what you want. All i know is we don't seem to get the pub we deserve and I know i'm not being biased, nor playing victim.

Interesting what you say about ESPN, I just went next door to pick up some food and they had the channel on at the bar. And right when I got there, they were talking to one of their NBA "experts", and they started talking about the Suns and how we're rising, and how we're young and would be talked about for a long time.

right - i wasn't actually referring to TV, just the website. I realise they're both run by the same company and I'm confident they collaborate but at the same time they are likely to be run by different business units. Maybe it's just the writers - Aldridge hates us, insider never does 'peep shows' on us etc etc, you know how it goes. Anyways, I just don't get it. I guess winning will solve all of that.

Well, my thoughts are that outside of the Jared Jeffries/Amare Stoudemire thing, Aldridge pretty much just ignores us.

exactly my point - how can guys like DA and Dr. Jack answer however many questions they answer in their chats and not cover phoenix just once? Same goes for insider like I said. Its ridiculous but it happens consistently. Surely its not just because we're not that good - how many other lesser teams get more pub than us?

I'm not bitching about a lack of publicity here cause in all honesty its kinda cool that we're not this super popular team, but i would like to know why we don't get our fair share. (Actually, maybe i am bitching - ESPN is always better when its phoenix focussed)There has to be something to it...

I have noticed that the scores listed on the main page tend to be the national televised games, or the large market teams / big matchups. I can understand that, no big problems there. Most of those recaps are from the AP, not espn. So technically it isn't espn, just the AP that tends to hype up odd things (like the blowout win by indy). Of course, I do not know who titles the links, but if it is espn I can only imagine they are doing it off of the recap they recieve.

Do you have any idea as to how many question DA or Dr. Jack receive every week? For every question they answer, there are probably ten other questions.

I read chats occasionally, and I see some Suns questions there. Joe Mama just posted DA's answer to a question about the Suns, today.

One time I sent a question and DA answered it. I don't have a problem with ESPN. The Suns are just a team fighting for a playoff spot. Once they make some news, they'll get more publicity.

I think i saw at the end of one of DA's chats him saying that he recieved over 5800 questions during the chat time alone....not to mention questions mailed to him over the week.

Exactly. Do you remember earlier in the year when the Suns had 3rd place in the west (I know it was a loooong time ago)? Both NBA.com and ESPN.com were all over the Suns. It was Amare this and Marbury that. Even Penny was getting attention. There was usually no less that 2 or 3 articles related to the Suns on the main pages everyday and sometimes more. It was almost embarassing. But then the Suns came back down to earth and the media forgot about them.

But they'll be back!!!!
