Then, you look at the East and you have, well, ONE good first round matchup with Miami v. Chicago, but you know Stern's salivating at Lebron's chance to get to the Conference Finals and have a relatively easy path to the Finals to really showcase his next big star.
I haven't really paid much attention to the East....so somebody actually made the playoffs over there? Interesting...I thought Jordan retired.

Oh well. Go Suns/Lakers Suck...

man, that video just brings back so many painful, but ultimately GREAT memories. I don't if I've even been prouder of the Suns after Game 7 - maybe Game 7 of the WCF back in 1993, but I expected that team to win.

coming back against the team that haas held us down, after taking so mnay cheap shots and dishing them backout, with the buzzer beaters and comebacks and everything, w/o Amare or Kurt - that was a truly amazing series which started a truly remarkable run.

Now, let's take care of business fast, don't give these guys a second to breathe and don't put us in the position where we have to win 1 or 2 games in LA because we dropped one of the first two!

BRING ON THE PLAYOFFS!

just as an aside, Stern's got to just be stoked beyond belief at the way all the matchups went down - in the west, he's got the grudge rematch of Suns v. Lakers, he's got Nellie vs. the Mavs, the Spurs v. Melo and AI and two fifty win teams with Houston and Utah.

4-0 sweep!

It has to be if we really want to win a championship... need to be focused. Need to dispose of 1st round as fast as possible.

If the Suns want to beat the Spurs, they need their full energy, need their health, and need to be firing on all cylinders (and many other cliches). If they have all of those going, they will sweep the Lakers.

Suns in 4... if it goes 6 or 7, they are not beating the Spurs.

Kobe sucks... and rapes. :)

I think all of the first-round series in the Western Conference are going to go at least 6 games. This is why I think there's a legitimate chance that a team like Detroit or maybe even Miami out of the Eastern conference could win it all this year. The Western Conference teams are going to beat each other up all the way to the finals.

If I am Phil Jackson on using Odom to post up Shawn Marion and Bynum to post up Amare Stoudemire every time I get the chance. Same goes for whoever is defending Luke Walton.

I think Phoenix takes this one in 6.

Lakers will be lucky to get one game the way they've finished the season. If I had to pick between four and five games I'd say the Lakers manage to win one. Either way, the Los Angeles Lakers will be defeated

the suns haven't exactly dominated the lakers this season. they lost by 8, won by 5, 8 and 8. Not sure why everyone thinks this is going to be so easy.

Once again, the referees will see to it that L.A. wins at least two.

I think this team has an extra gear that we see rarely - we saw it on April 1st against the Mavs.

Diaw will play well in this series.

They'll want to take care of business as soon as possible to avoid from tiring themselves out. Whether it be the Spurs or the Nuggets, it's going to be a tough 2nd round series.

Because the lakers have lost 8 of their last 12, and look like the worst playoff team alive right now.

Suns in 5....look at the playoff schedule. In many cases, we have three days between games, which only benefits the suns

2nd worst....washington is playing without any of their premier players. They probably couldnt beat the grizzlies right now

Speaking of the Wiz, someone would have to pay me a lot of money for me to watch one whole game of their series vs. the Cav's.

Nah, they still give effort out there, even if their talent level is subpar right now. The Lakers are a true Jekyll/Hyde team.

I think we do find that extra gear and turn up the fire, but as always we will think it's too easy and let up. Lakers win 1 suns in 5
