I never bashed the Suns, just said they remind me of the Mavericks from the last 5 years, no defense, all offense. I suppose you think they are more like last years Pistons or Spurs with that stilfling D they play. In fact I'm pretty sure I said somewhere that if they get a true dominant center they will be a force for years to come. I don't like the Suns, but they are a good, young team, so I don't think they will roll over for the Spurs tonight, but to say that the Spurs have only been winning is because of inconsistent officiating is ludicrous.

You can say what you want about the Spurs choking in the playoffs last year, but the Spurs have won 2 of the last 6 NBA titles, when the Sun's win one championship you can talk crap.

As far as me being a "TROLL", i'd like to know what I said to make me a troll and when did I bash the Suns? I've been posting and reading this board since its inception, but spend most of time primarily on the Cards board since I'm a Card fan. Sure i'm here because the Spurs and Suns are playing tonight.....BIG DEAL. Why don't you grow up.

"I don't like the Suns", but they are a good, young team, so I don't think they will roll over for the Spurs tonight, but to say that the Spurs have only been winning is because of inconsistent officiating is ludicrous."

That is the reason ...

If you "don't like the Suns", why are you here? You don't need to bash to be a troll. You come here and try to disturb fans' confidence in Suns. To me, that's trolling. I said those words 'cause I believe in Suns' ability to win and they showed that in the past 31W. I don't need a reality check 'cause I know how good Spurs is. It's just that tonight is a big game for us and you coming here to show off how good Spurs is. That's just painful to read.

please just let it go. Don't worry. If there are any trolls we will take care of them. Let's get this thread back to talk about the game tonight.

12 as far as I know.

I don't think anything is official.

I heard on the radio today that the three guys are already packing up. Lampe has already cleaned out his locker.

After the trade the suns end up with 11 players.

Jackson will not be here tonight so that is 10, Barbosa is on IR so that leaves 9 for tonight.

Smush might get lots of minutes tonight..........no Barbosa and no CJ, and, maybe no Nash!!

The latest line is S.A. by 2 and over/under 196. How is S.A.. only favored by 2 points! The Suns misfortunes might make me some money tonight!

I won't get my hopes up but this is definitely a winnable game. The Clippers almost beat them the other day but Elton couldn't get his last shot to drop.

It would probably help if you learned how to read. Initially I said I thought the Suns would win in a close game. How in the hell is that "disturbing" the fans confidence. As for why i'm posting here now, of course it is because its the Suns/Spurs game tonight, why else would a Spurs fan post on a Suns board. Are you like 10 or something?

Amare needs to contest more shots! Duncan is getting is too low and Amare isn't even trying to block his shot, though he's dominating on the offensive end.
Good 1st half. Lets keep it up and get the tempo in our favour.

I think Marion is proving tonight again why we don't need to trade him. I cannot believe I saw his name in some deals for Dalembert in the other thread.

8 Rebounds, 2 steals and a block at halftime.

Also, Amare is just feeling it tonight!

This loss pisses me off so damn much. Blowing a 17 point lead going into the 4th quarter is friggin' unexcuseable.

Absolutley! The Suns are terrible on the boards! We gave up so many offensive rebounds. We need a big guy to rebound. I'm not fond of trading JJ, but i think we could grab a bruiser through free agency.

Very depressing loss.

D'Antonio needs to step up his game. There's only so many times you can run the pick and roll with nash and Amare. Late in the OT they read it and stole the ball, because we were desperate for a score and we went to our bread and butter. We need some organisation and a little more variety within the half court. Also, the free throw shooting tonight killed us. :(

I hope the Suns aren't totally deflated from this huge setback. San Antonio is the best team in the league and we played them well until midway through the 4th Qtr. I'd take alot of positives out of this. Nash played his heart out but you knew his tank was running on empty by the end. Marion and Amare looked like themselves again. Q has some soul searching to do, and Jim Jackson will provide some life of the bench.

Suns needs just one win and i think we'll right this ship and get back to winning ball.

Keep the faith.

This game wasn't lost because of coaching, it was due to a lack of execution by the players.

They didn't box out, gave up the lane too easily on defense, had horrible shot selection, didn't take care of the ball, and couldn't hit layups or FTs in the 4th qtr (Amare missed 5 fts in the 4th qtr alone).

It sucks that we lost but considering the circumstances I didn't expect us to win anyways. Need to forget about this one and move on to get out of this horrible slump. The addition of Jim Jackson should help

The lack of success in the half court is also the coaches responsibility. The Spurs read our one play like a porno.

Some small misses here and there really hurt. Marion's layup, and Amare missed ft's after his push ups really killed us.

Ah, there's nothing like curling up by the fire with a good porno.
