Yeah, I think that "meltdown" occurred following 3 straight losses to Dallas, Sacramento and Portland and the day after KD gave us his best Ayton impression which led to Woj and others saying he was unhappy in Phoenix and implied that he wanted out. Oh, and Beal was still sidelined with his back problem and there was little confidence we'd ever see him fully healthy again. It's still an option. It may sound less crazy to you during the next fourth quarter meltdown.
I have no doubt as to your last sentence.Yeah, I think that "meltdown" occurred following 3 straight losses to Dallas, Sacramento and Portland and the day after KD gave us his best Ayton impression which led to Woj and others saying he was unhappy in Phoenix and implied that he wanted out. Oh, and Beal was still sidelined with his back problem and there was little confidence we'd ever see him fully healthy again.
Roster wise, I think we've done incredibly well since the KD trade. But even still, it's win it all or start selling IMO. Right now we appear to have a 2 year window but that can change in a heartbeat. If this team falls apart due to injuries, I'm sure many of us will be speculating about a Booker trade again.
