Suns @ Wizards Sunday game thread 2-4-2024

The Suns finish up their seven game road trip at the Wizards on Sunday.

It’s a day game that starts at 1:30 PM Arizona time.

Suns are now 28-21 after losing to the Hawks. They are now 3-3 on the trip.

The Wizards are 9-39 after losing to the Heat on Friday.

Might be an intense game to watch. The bench guys should get most of the minutes...... real time to evaluate them.

I guess looking healthy is something but still, we won't actually BE healthy until Beal is out of that mask or actually gets used to it.

Not that I expect problems but still, the Spurs would only have 8 wins total if it hadn't been for them beating us twice this season.

It's rough because Beal does some of his best work in the air under the basket - that ability to drive buys him space for the jump shot - and we saw it last time with the back injury - there is no half speed with Bradley Beal if he's on the court he's taking it to the hole regardless - same goes for playing defense

On the DC metro heading downtown now. The wizards were up at halftime against the heat in their last game. So they may put up a good fight. We could be washed also. Who knows for sure.

Hoping for a fun game and then some bol bol rehab minutes!

We don't play well against extremely subpar teams and we don't play well against teams playing their benches due to a beat up roster - double whammy - but a win would mean a semi-successful road trip so hopefully that's motivation enough

Good question. That's always confusing. The bright side is that there is a 50% chance we'll get the PHX broadcast.

I'm watching the game on channel 3, KTVK, in Phoenix on DirecTV. It doesn't show up in the guide for NBA TV in my area.

Good question. That's always confusing. The bright side is that there is a 50% chance we'll get the PHX broadcast.

This. When on NBATV, that is my only choice. 50/50 chance of which broadcast except when it's a NBATV specific broadcast but I think those are only on Tuesdays.

Out of state, I would think it should be on NBA TV.

Luckily, channel 3 has been pretty reliable even though I don't live in Phoenix, except for certain games when the national networks have exclusive rights.

out of state it will definitely be on NBA TV. For some reason in the Republic, it didn't show the game playing on air, but one look at my Dad's contour showed it on AZ Family.

I rarely get to watch entire games with my Dad, so I'll probably suffer in misery watching this team putz around for a while, get a big lead and then hold on for dear life in the 4th.
