Can't believe the Falcons decided to throw the ball when they were in field goal range and could have put the game away by running twice and kicking it. They should fire the OC immediately.

Oh... Wait.. He's going to coach the 49ers. Thank goodness..
I didn't believe it either ... FG range, game is more than 50% over, Jumbopackage in and run the ball twice, take time of the clock and even if you don't make the FG you took atleast 20-30 more seconds from the clock, that would have been enough.

HC & OC didn't playcall / manage this game well in the second half overall and especially on that drive that would have closed the game.

That Edelman catch was sweet justice for the Tyree catch. Tom was unreal down the stretch.

Julio was unreal as well.

Fantastic game. Wanted Falcons to win but give TB credit. I can't emphasize how much I hate the OT rule. It's B.S. that Atlanta doesn't get at least one possession. Simply hate that rule.

I agree. They need to tweak it where they get atleast a chance to tie it. This rule gives the coin toss winner more % to win in OT.

OT rule is just fine. Just watch the college OT ruled game. Those things turn into marathons.

Think about the run of championships we've had:

Villanova

Cavs come back from 3-1 deficit

Cubs come back from deficit

BCS championship down to final play

First superbowl OT

What a run!

(Too bad all our teams suck)

Oh, yeah... forgot about Nova's buzzer beater too.

But I look at it the opposite way... with all those heartbreakers, THANK GOD we suck in every sport or at least ONE of those losers would have been us.

It doesn't have to be that way. The current rule is terrible. It comes down to a coin toss. They should get at least one possession. After that, go to sudden death rules if both teams score.

Agreed...the new rule is leading to to many tie games as is. Football isnt just about offense. At some point you have to stop somebody.
