Well, that was one of the most boring and uneventful SB's ever. I'm glad they played at a fast pace and got it over with.

Yay! Brees far outplays Manning and the underdog Saints win it all. Good for New Orleans and good for Brees.

You could see hw emotional Drew was feeling after the game. I bet his mom was on his mind. She had committed suicide before the season began. I read he had made peace with her before she killed herself.

Also, did any of you see the story ESPN did with Drew and the sick boy who had two weeks to live? He is still alive after having his second bone marrow transplant.

The Saints were pretty much a team of destiny. I felt this after they demolished the Cardinals. It just seemed like their fans and the team were on the same page and something special was going to happen. A revival of New Orleans of sorts.

Gotta feel good for Saints fans, they have been through just as much as us Cards fans over the years! Too bad we didnt get ours, but congrats to the loyal saints fans!!

The thing that sucks is the Yucs & the Aints won the big one before we did :bang:

Congrats to them

And look at the QBs they blitz through to win it all: Warner, Favre, Manning...

How ironic that Manning essentially blew the game for the Colts.

The picksix to put them down 14 was bad enough. But then that play where he forced the ball to Garcon instead of just throwing the ball away essentially ended any chance they had. Garcon had to commit PI to break up the interception, that moved them back 10 yards which ultimately led to them not scoring(even though Wayne should have caught that ball).

It was unlikely they were going to win anyways but I was amazed that an experienced QB like Manning didn't throw that ball away.

I really enjoyed the game. A great goal line stand, a surprise onside kick, a pick 6, and even though Brees outplayed him, Manning had some of the nicest throws I've seen.

Good for New Orleans. I thought they had their shot a couple years ago at being a team of destiny, and didn't think they'd make it back. Instead they just took a couple of years to become a really good team. I hope the same will be said about us--onto the draft!
