Anyone looked into this yet? Do you NEED a parking pass or can you just pay cash when you get there to park?

I have looked into it and you do need a pass. The price is 60.00 and then the shipping is another 15.00 and change. This is the url

There will be no shuttles, limo, or bus drop off allowed on game day. Only taxi's will be allowed to drop off at lot 11. We are trying to arrange car pools so the dent in the wallet isn't so bad. We have purchased our pass and are staying in Lakeland about 35 miles from the stadium.

I don't believe you need to prepay for a parking pass. There are more than enough parking areas very close to the stadium in Tampa to accomodate the crowd. Three suggestions.

1. To the west of the stadium, beyond Hillsborough Community College. Nearly everybody in this neighborhood turns their yards in to parking lots on game days. This will be the least expensive area to park. However, because they are trying to get as many cars in as possible, that will leave you needing to find somewhere else to tailgate.

2. To the east of the stadium there are several lots very close that you can park in and tailgate in. These usually run about half the price of the 'official' lots.

3. There is a mall about two miles away, International Plaza. Park there and pre-game at the sports bar there, Champs. Then take a cab to the game. The cost of the bar tab and cab fare could end up less than the cost of an official parking pass.

I recieved a parking pass with my tickets, and am also staying near Lakeland. The problem is I already rented n economy compact car. So if anyone is renting a van and has extra room, maybe we can use my pass. I also pronised to pick up Zeno somewhere along the line. So you need to have room for three.
